On another note as well dennis boyd would do a real job down holker street has great mentality plus could bring a few local lads through into the first team

Did Grant Holt just say he'd take the job if it came his way??? I'll have some of that!

I like the man, I like the way he played/plays, I think the level of professionalism he would bring would be a benefit, it would be more profile building for the club, it's a guy who knows us and (seemingly) wants to come.
I also have a (considerable ) gut feeling about him.

Another one in the Grant Holt camp here. I know I said we needed an experienced manager but I think this one is too good an opportunity to turn down. As stated already, it would be a high profile appointment and it's one that is highly thought of by us Barrovians. He will most likely have a decent contact book and hopefully we might be a bit more attack minded. It's a gamble but it's worth the risk. I legit think this appointment would take some of the heat off Casson since Coxs resignation.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.

If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.
