Re: Liam hughes
Think people need to lay off Hughes the criticism has gone beyond reasonable and has become vindictive. An example would be the Fylde game where he was blamed and he had hardly set foot on the pitch. In my view you might be better questioning what Harry P brings to the team or Yussuf for that matter. Liam does put effort in and is far more effective than those two in my opinion, plus he is more likely to score.

What is Liam Hughes squad number.
Re: Liam hughes
Liam Hughes deserves better. Let the mods end a thread which is personally destructive towards one player from keyboard bullies.

Agree with the above. Whatever your opinion of the man this is personal and wouldn't be acceptable in any other format or place of work.

Re: Liam hughes
We are allowed an opinion aren't we? I don't rate Hughes personally but it's light hearted banter and he just might get fitter, find some form and make a season of it. Then we could all express our opinions on how much he has improved - it's just standard football talk and not personal.

Re: Liam hughes
It is personal. The original thread comment was referring to his absence for the last couple of weeks. It has descended into some pretty personal stuff about the lad and once again the vultures are out to prey. Very typical of the snide pit that is so often evident on here. But taking away the subjective element, once again, a thread has, from its original intention, gone off track through personal agendas. The way to act to prevent that is to take that thread away in my book and should be done more often. So please Mods, start the clamp down.Wintergreen wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 7:56 am We are allowed an opinion aren't we? Alternatively, you could not raise your hand and cry teacher and actually engage with a debate. Is there anything we are allowed to discuss anymore on this forum? Or have we descended into some Orwellian nightmare where we all must salute our leader, hold 2 minutes hate rituals against a former member of this forum, all hold the same views and not deviate from certain beliefs. Maybe we could shorten the names of the forum sections: Genball, offic, travelments... and slowly we can reduce our conscious thought.Tom Brownlee wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 8:32 amIt is personal. Back on topic
Liam Hughes was poor last year, poor this year and has decided to put on a few pounds. If he is going to sit there and take his wage as a professional sports man he should not be his size. I actually think it's pretty disrespectful towards the paying fan, the manager and also the bloke who pays his wages.
And on the 7th day god created football

You shouldn't complain, this sort of stuff is giving you material for your bluebirds chat.Tom Brownlee wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 8:32 amIt is personal. Re: Liam hughes
No issues at all with healthy, pertinent debate. But do we have enough of that? There are probably at my guess around 30 regular users of this forum (contributing say to multiple threads per week). Some of which may use double aliases. Anyone wonder why we have a few thousand members who are not contributing regularly? Do they see the level of debate as healthy enough? Do they see too many personally driven agendas? Maybe its just me! But this has turned into abit of a farcical thread again.
