Well actually, if you 100% agree with that you've just shot yourself well & truly in the foot! because as ruins says, posting on a public forum about someone's health in the way you have done several times on here today is absolutely wrong.

Aye you said in your podcast on Sunday, fifteen stone.mrknowitall wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 11:00 am As someone who has read this forum and never contributed - I now cant help but get involved and give my opinion.
I think you will find that Liam Hughes is 100% on weight and ready to play - he has been dealing with some serious medical issues over recent times which have impacted his weight - medication etc. I have heard this from a family member of his at one of the games in the stand.
Correct, he is not a winger (how many 6'4 wingers with blistering speed do we know!) - Liam is a proven attacking centre midfielder who has experience of winning promoton from this league with Cambridge Utd (he scored the winner in the playoff final) - over 200 national league and football league games for a man who has just turned 25 is a great achievement. He is probably coming into the best years of his career.
If he is played in his natural position he could be a key player for the club. He is a popular member of the team and from what I gather is a really nice lad - the personal stuff on here needs to stop.
True, he did not have the best of seasons last season - he certainly is no lionel messi - and he may not have met up to peoples expectations - but the game is all about opinions isnt it?
Lets all move on and get behind the team and our players.

Oh come on? Really? I've been on this forum and the previous longer enough to know that we are all entitled to an opinion. But that's an opinion were talking about, not someone's mental health. I wish I was a casson and not an ex pat living in Chorley training to be a teacher with 3 young kids in my abode making honest money. I have first hand experience with depression and know lots of folk who suffer from it in some form, my issue with you is why say this? You obvious want to be important. You probably need to feel important but your not.mrknowitall wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 10:38 pmyou my fellow forum member are either a casson, someone who likes to have phyical contact with the cassons - or actually a plonker. we are all entitled to an opinion.
One thing you got right since joining this forum is I am a plonker!

Why are you speaking about yourself in the third person? You're the sourcemrknowitall wrote: ↑Tue Sep 12, 2017 10:01 pmonly time will tell. Im only going off from what I have heard which is from an unoffical source - but also someone who apparently spends alot of time on site at the club. The whole thing is a shambles at the moment if it is true.
I hope it not true for the record.

I can see why Bayles refused to work with agents
I hope Liam is okay, none of this has helped anyone really, but if knowitall is actually Tranter (as being suggested) then hes awful at his job, why would an agent disclose personal info about a client onto a public forum ?

Re: Liam hughes
If LH had made any kind of statement about suffering from depression he would undoubtedly receive full and unconditional support from Barrow fans, no question. To speculate about it on a public forum when he isn't ready to talk could potentially be devastating for him and set him back further. He can say whatever he wants, when he's ready and the support will be there. This is absolutely not a topic to be discussed on here without the consent of the person involved.
I truly hope LH is well and this is just someone with an agenda (as perverse as that sounds) as it's a quite sickening to wake up and read. This is people's lives, health and wellbeing being discussed alongside the trivialities and banalities of supporting a football team. It's not the place and you have no right to post on the subject.
If you are unwell, stay safe, talk when you're ready and know that support is always available whenever you need it. If it feels like it will never end, it will, you will be well again however much it feels like you won't.
We're all Barrow, ain't we.

Brilliant post - well said. Its all too easy to forget that footballers are just human beings, doing a job. What they do on the pitch is our business as paying customers, but what happens away from that is not.PRR wrote: ↑Wed Sep 13, 2017 7:53 am If LH had made any kind of statement about suffering from depression he would undoubtedly receive full and unconditional support from Barrow fans, no question. Agree with previous two posts, daft banter aside, get well soon Liam and here's hoping we can see you again doing what we know you can do, in a Barrow shirt.
