I rate Gomes, his distribution of the ball is bloody good but need Harvey to do the dirty work perhaps and let gomes free? Young jack looks like a very promising player, rate him highly too.. all in all, crap weather played its part along with another poor ref!!
Could do with Bignot sticking around imo, if he is available and fancies it? he is obviously the tactics guy.. wouldn't say no to a moore and bignot partnership.
Deffo need stability and knowing who will be the BOSS asap..

Still think we have a really good bunch of lads who under the right manager can get us up the table but do need two or three extra experienced players, a decent forward and a couple of meat heads in midfield!
3 pts at the weekend will do us the world of good.
And yes, the lighting was far better but still sad to see the legend lights go...
Harrison need a rest. He's just had 6+ months rest !! And he is only playing part of games.

They tightened up second half and we're obviously happy with a draw. The keeper was taking an age over every goalkick. Still haven't got the midfielder to open up a team when they are content to sit back. White was quiet but got no service. He'd probably have had more luck first half unfortunately.

Probably not enough to score Moore the gig but we have improved our style.
Improved our style but Yusuff flatters to deceive and not surprised
he was subbed

Just wish we had played White and Harrison in first half as you say probably would have been better service for him.

So surprised that lots of people don't want to give the big Scotsman any credit,he is our best chance of goals if we play him.

He has only had 3 full 90 mins and in these three games scored 3 goals, just don't get the logic of the interim manager only giving him half a game in three when he needed to win.

Bigman should get 90 mins on Saturday for a chance to get us some goals surely

Pretty poor game I thought after a promising start and first half. 3-5-2 doesn't suit us I don't think. To play this way you need wingbacks who can get forward and put a decent ball in, too many times Jones especially and Barthram got in decent positions and either failed to beat the first man or managed to find the area where no Barrow players were. Back to 4-4-2 for me and hopefully Fitzpatrick can be an asset on the wing. The strikers I thought did ok in the conditions and considering there wasn't a lot of service, but none of them have scored in what our last 4/5 games ? Bar a couple of half chances last night they never really looked like changing that.

There's a definite change in style under Bignot and Moore, we do try and pass the ball more and Moore was throwing the ball out rather than lumping it forwards which we've never really seen before. Results speak for themselves though and 1 win in 5 and 2 defeats...to give Moore the job wouldn't say much for our supposed ambitions. We need someone appointed fast and for the owner to back them with new players and money...will that happen though....

On the plus side I think finally we have a decent goalkeeper in Moore who looks assured and good in the air, defence looks reasonably solid and Gomis I thought was excellent, hassled and harried all over the pitch and the only person likely to make something happen going forward.

Off the field though, it's all a bit of a mess...

This is a normal forum put down when sharing an alternative view lol

Just say it as I see it and statistics would appear to back me up 👍

I agree that Harrison appears to not yet be fully fit - while he appeared to run freely, from the outset it was clear that he was walking with a slightly stiff leg. The acting manager on BBCRC after the game seemed to imply that him starting and surviving for 70 minutes was another milestone in his recovery.

Some comments about Jones seem harsh. In such difficult conditions, exercising a certain caution in tackles seemed appropriate while he got a number of decent balls into the box that went unmet.

On the whole, not too bad a game for a 0-0 draw, another clean sheet, some useful insights into players' strength and weaknesses and effective floodlights with all lamps in use! (Though a bit puzzled by the specific role of those fixed under the front edge of the Brian Arrowsmith stand. Any ideas?)

So that those in the dugouts can see what they're doing? ;)

So he needs game time then and not rest.

Bit of both probably. Maybe use him as impact player 10-15 mins into second half, let opposition tire a bit rather than start him? Thats what I would do.

I think if your going to use him for impact then he needs to start and see how it goes. Last 20 mins of a game could be too late.

Have to agree with hadrian

Jones tends to let the player commit and pick up the pieces when going forward

Don't think you ever see him pull out of a defensive tackle

On the game as a whole probably the worst conditions to play a Paul cox team, definite leveller

We'll be ok. Good account of ourselves against all
The top teams we have played.

Need a bit of luck
