Re: Liam hughes
How long has he been banned for, miss the insight
Re: Liam hughes
Absolutely appalled by some of the more recent comments on this forum. There are a number of ex professional footballers that have suffered from depression, such as Clarke Carlisle. Depression is a serious form of mental illness that can take lives if it becomes significantly severe. Rumouring information that hasn't been confirmed, therefore having the potential to be untrue is bad enough, but for someone to spread a rumour from an unofficial source about a players mental health is just unfair.
Liam Hughes has had an incredibly successful footballing career and his time at Barrow has been magnificent, there will be an explanation as to why he hasn't been playing recently, and talking about it isn't the issue, making these sort of assumptions however is.
I believe that if that's how some individuals on here are willing to look at players of Barrow AFC, you are not a supporter or a follower of the club and you have zero interest in wanting the best for the club or the players.

Please respect the mans privacy , if there is an issue he needs time ,space and support to aid him.We need to if anything open a thread which shows we understand , and wish him well. What we appear to be doing at the moment is kicking a man when he is down , and we should want no part of this

Re: Liam hughes
Yet again any form of statement from anyone at the club has let some potentially damaging rumours fly around the forum..

The last paragraph absolutely nails some posts of late.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
