Moore and Bignot have achieved very limited results with good players.
I don't understand the process as the owner is as unclear. Hence I attempt to theorise that Moore lacked confidence on his tod so asked owners for support. Bignot his chum arrives who keeping options open has his eyes on our club if results pan out....not so....but then can get a job at Chester or tranmere?
As a pair or individually these two haven't done it have they?
They shouldn't be prime contenders.
There's better out there.......come on down grant.

I think Moore and Bignot are the sensible option which would cause let upset to probably an unsettled group just now. If not Moore wold make a good no 2 but lacks the experience / charisma of a no 1 which the job role requires. Here's another name for the top job, Justin Edinburgh. He's young, current and recent experience. A good win percentage comparable with other names and Cox himself. Took Rushden to the play offs and took Newport up from the playoffs in the national league so again more experience than cox. Unlucky to be sacked by Northampton after 4 games. If we are to bring someone in the league is that open we can't risk holt. I agree he'd raise the crowd and it would be great to see him back playing but his coaching ability would be a gamble. Why not bring him in as player coach now anyway, we lack a good bench player who can change a game and act as a target man when chasing a game. It's certainly not white whose been disappointing.

He's on non contract terms.... but that may change if he does ok in covering and whether his bro gets a job here?
He has league experience so should be ok hopefully.

Richard Money for me. Has a decent managerial CV, won the league two title with Walsall and got Cambridge back into the football league. Been out of the game for a couple of years as a manager but performed academy director roles at Atlanta in the MLS and Norwich City. As has already been said, his contacts could be very beneficial.

He played for us for...what?...18 months and has had maybe 20 different clubs.

Also he's from Carlisle, a place that is roughly as far away as Manchester. Y'know the place where no-one wants us to train because "it's not local".

More than a Third of voters voting for a fella with a big fat ZERO managing experience & a lot of them say the club didn't know what it's doing

In 2008 Eddie Howe took up his first management role at Bournemouth when they were 10 points adrift at the foot of League 2. His rise was tremendous and he started from much the same position that Holt is in IF he is seriously being considered for the role.
Holt as Player-Manager with a seasoned Assistant (perhaps Moore) helping on the sidelines. That'd do it for me.
Also, at the other end of the league spectrum, Dalglish had knob-all management experience when taking over Liverpool.

You have named a few exceptions to the rule like E Howe, Who did amazingly well to get B'mouth to where they are today & is doing a fantastic job keeping them there, But its not the norm really is it!!

Dalglish is a different kettle of fish in the crazy world of top flight cash rich PL Football, He had the luxury of being an insider in a club with long history of slotting in insiders to carry on the Liverpool way from the boot room up, So he slotted in easily just like Ronnie Moran & Bob Paisley had done previously so it was an already built in path he followed at the time.
He became Manager of the place he practically lived in & who weren't at the wrong end of the table with the added pressure that brings, He also had a world wide standing in the game & millions to spend if he wanted too.

As much managerial experience as Don McEvoy,Colin Appleton,Vic Halom, Dave Bayliss and Darren Sheridan arguably a wide selection of our most succesful managers. Waste of time speculating. The decision is out of our hands. Lets face it Paul Cox was an appointment unexpected by all except those 'in the know'.
