That's if the budget he was given was sufficient to bring in better players AND it was Cox who brought in these players. If it was then he's made a mess of it because many of the players brought in aren't good enough for this league. However, if the budget wasn't big enough to attract better players that's down to the owner. Everything I read tells me the club is now being run on a shoestring even down to not printing enough programmes in case a few aren't sold!

Not at the time we signed this current squad.

Who's in charge of finalising the contracts for players ?

Because if Halls wage is as been suggested he's having a right good laugh at us.

Young Harry is not the problem.

He's not THE problem, but he's a terrible excuse for a footballer. One good touch here and there doesn't make up for the other 10 that bounce off his knees, or him falling over if someone breathes on him.
That powder-puff effort deep in injury time that just needed side-footing home or even across goal, it was pathetic.
Sadly, he's not the only one not good enough for this level.

Sadly have to agree. Yesterday he at least tried when he came on though. However, he's not skilful enough to play well in this league on a consistent enough basis. Having seen 5 games, and for everyone's sake I hope I'm wrong, but the players that aren't anywhere near good enough are aforesaid Harry, White and Bauress. Those I'm not sure about are Hall (goes missing too much), Yussef (falls over a lot, and isn't fit enough), Neiskins (very very slow).
My overall view is that the current players have some skill, aren't fit enough generally(look at the number of hamstrings), let their heads drop (almost unforgivable), need leadership on the field (Hall is a very poor captain), and are too small a squad.
On a more positive note Harvey will be back soon, Parry can play (not sure when), though being out so long will be difficult - look at Harrison. Frightened to challenge yesterday, with or without the ball. Needs to recover mentally as well as physically, or he'll just fade away.
If I'm right about the problems, a lot of them are down to the management to solve, in addition to, literally, having an effective game plan which utilises the players strengths.
Moore must be on borrowed time.

I personally don't think the players are trying for moore.
Half Time the substitutes were sat in the dugout having a chat when they are supposed to be warming up.
Performance on the pitch looked to be that of a team who weren't arsed as well

Would agree with that. First time I've seen players not arsed at Holker St for a long time. Very sad to see. We probably haven't a playoff standard squad but they are better than that showing.

We've crapped out before of course, but even Edmo's route one specialists would have beaten us on Saturday. I still think there is some potential in that squad but a proper kick ass manager is needed now to get them into shape and replace the non-performers, crocks and dead wood.
