Poor appointment we are in a results business and one win in six which included the bottom two sides of the league isn't good enough normally that sought of run would get you the sack not appointed. That said he will receive my full support, I hope he also gets the support of the owners in terms of addressing the horrendous injury list and bringing in better players although the evidence suggests otherwise and will probably be loan signings or cheap options. I fear that the crowds will drop sub 1000 and just be the normal diehards. Anyway best of luck Mickey Moore I hope you prove us all wrong.

Underwhelmed by the appointment but as previous posters said will be at the next home game. I can only wish the guy well and hope he can turn around a very tricky situation.
Until the injuries the defence looked solid enough but not so sure now. The midfield seems very weak to me and so do the forwards. I can not imagine what MM can do to improve players such as Harry P who is one paced and that one is not quick.

With such a bad run already he is going to have to get results next month from

Hartlepool away
Leyton Orient at home
Qualify from the 4qr of the FA Cup
Then make the journey to big spenders ebbsfleet
Before an away game at Chester.
Then title prospects aldershot at home

If thats not bad enough November looks like this:
Macc home
Eastleigh away
Gateshead away

Casson doesnt like Crowds going down, he also demands better football.

Where are the points going to be coming from through the next two months.

I genuinley think he could be gone by December.

The statement is absolute hogwash. The only thing in it that's true is that Moore is the new manager. This was always going to be the case and IMO the only reason for the delay was a desperate wait for a win so there could be even a grain of truth in the statement the manager was producing results. No doubt Andrew Casson has finally realised if he waits for a win he might never be able to make an appointment! I've felt uneasy about the direction the club was heading for quite a while before Paul Cox left and that merely confirmed my fears. I was still hoping I was wrong and a decent appointment would be made with some decent players being added but this is absolute proff as far as I'm concerned that we will be leaving the National League at the end of this season. Get your bets on quickly if you want to make some money because the current price won't be around for very long!

Very uninspired by this appointment. The whole club stinks at the moment and rather than engaging fans the club seem intent on [SwearFilter] people off. I feel completely disillusioned with the whole set up and the soul of the club is being stripped away.

It is clear to me Andrew Casson is nowhere near qualified to do the job that's been asked of him, and he should step aside. He is a pretender with [SwearFilter] all of the qualities needed for the role of MD.

At what point will fans become vocal and turn on him and this regime?

Seems like he's well qualified when the job is cost cutting!

Just like the manager, Andrew Casson is the cheap option. A MD experienced in running a football club wouldn't come cheap. More evidence of cost cutting

Well, the chips are down. Does the hand fit the glove or the glove fit the hand? Time for the coach to grit his teeth and show us what he is made of.

Mrs South Yorkshire Blue is taking the kids to her parents in Northamptonshire this weekend. Sutton bound via an early bird 21 pound return Donny to King's Cross for me. Any other Barrow supporters coming via rail? A rare day on the devil's brew for me, starting upon landing at a quarter to ten.

 The way this has all been handled by the owner and his son is very disappointing.
The momentum has gone.

I have nothing against Mickey Moore personally but he has done nowt to make the job his. It is a yes man cost cutting exercise.

I am going Saturday and will back the side because it is Barrow and they will need us. But I totally understand those who will sack it off and anyone who starts labelling them 'not fans' needs to have a word with themselves IMHO

We are being played in a series of either insulting or delusional statements. Paul Cox has a lot to answer for in many ways, but if the Cassons and Moore think they can weasel out of the next few months by blaming 'how they were left in this state' backed up by a dwindling bunch of forelock tugging fantasists on here they've got another thing coming.

BE HONEST PAUL. If money is tight, explain that. Most will respect that far more and get behind a weakened squad who'll try to stay in the division. Including those who are threatening to sack it.

Absolutely astounded at some of the vitriol on here. Anyone reading this would swerve the club and rightly so. He's only been in the job 5 minutes and already his appointment is being pulled to pieces. Why is everyone so surprised? Yes he wasn't my first choice either, but it has been obvious which way this was going for the last 2-3 games, Talk of not going anymore Oh BOO HOO, don't go then.- The rest- Let's get behind him and the team. We've got some really tough games coming up with a depleted team and they need all the support we can give.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.
