Your post hints at someone with a vested interest and connection with the cassons.
If you mean me, you couldn't be more wrong. I've watched Barrow since 1965. I've no connection with the Cassons whatsoever; I've never met them and have no intention of doing so. I'm wary of them.
The only interest I have at the club, vested or otherwise, is to see them doing well.

Not necessary for an apology, and not sure what "fronted" means. My only point is that yes, the Cassons are deserving of criticism, but what are we left with if they bale out? It's football. If anyone can't hack the reality and the inequality of it all, go and follow snooker or something similar. We are all capable of being fickle. I remember the reception Casson got from the pop side when he walked over at half time in the Rochdale match. Now it's very different, at least on here.
Like or lump the Casson dynasty, what seriously is the alternative?

The problem most fans have is the old mushroom management techniques being used by the Cassons

Keep us in the dark and feed us shite.

That's the annoying feature in all of this as it appears they had no intention appointing anyone else than Moore.

Cox obviously outfoxed them as they certainly didn't see him upping and leaving as this outcome would indicate this.

All the bluff and double speak sticks in the throat of most fans, yes we are
Happy the investment came from them but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they want to pull the plug on the whole project.

We would then be back to square one.

Don't think the Cassons believe the Barrow public have supported them and the club enough, but the danger is from all these statements the real supporters are in danger of not supporting now either.

It appears the trust and gratitude is gone from the fans by the reaction on here tonight.

I genuinley think he could be gone by December.
Don't suppose that will bother him as walks away with the balance of his two and a half year contract. ;)

Interesting to note.

11 Games after Edmo looked like this

P W D L GS GC PTS
11 4 2 5 11 21 14

11 Games after Moore/Cox looks like this

P W D L GS GC PTS
11 2 6 3 12 11 12

Shortly after the 4th Qual Fa Cup game Edmo was given a 5 point ultimatum to decide his future.

To have lost only 3 from 11, with all the surrounding shit storm, is actually not that bad.

6 points from a possible 18 in the last 6 is near enough relegation form. Its especially bad when these results have come against sides used to the lower half of the league. Its certainly not the 6th or above that is deemed acceptable by the owner.

Across the season so far averaging a point a game is definitely relegation form.

Of course - not arguing with that - just referring to our start, and considering all the hooha off the pitch. I just quietly hope for a spot comfortably away from the drop zone this year.

We were like new Barrow for about a year and now we've gone back to old Barrow. Business as usual. Typical Barrow.

We will always be Barrow and things will never be easy.

Cassons bought the club on the basis he was going to build it up

The reverse is happening.Did he really think he could balance the books and not have to invest.
The signs were there when Cox kept asking for money for players in January and nothing happened.

Casson panicked I jokingly said if we got promoted Cox would be sacked, it would mean he would have had to spend to get the ground to FA standards.
Now this fiasco .Cox could not be kept on as unlike the owner he had ambition and was manoeuvred into leaving .it's like year zero and pol pot i fear it's not only Moore who could be gone by Christmas and maybe we will end up in Stafford Rangers league

Im normally pretty positive when i do post on here, and the moaners do get on my nerves but this has really irritated me......What i genuinely don't understand is why that have [SwearFilter] around for weeks waiting to appoint him. Just appoint him straight away and give us the stability we need. Please don't pretend there was an application process and they considered other applicants, 1 win in 6??? what did he have to do not to get the job? They could have saved a load of time and hassle and just said we want Moore and thats it. What did they see in those 6 games that convinced them Moore was the right man? nothing!!! just be honest and say that's what you want so its tough.

Instead of a 2 and half year deal they would probably have been best saying he can have in until new year when a decision would be made.

If there weren't any better candidates now then there may have been at that time period. The decision to rush in will look foolish if the club go on a bad run and dont get past the first FA CUP hurdle.

You can see how hard it was for AC to create that statement. You don't employ a manager based on if players seem a little more interested at training this week than they were last week.

Is it possible Moore was always going to be the next Barrow manager? Is that why he was recruited in the first place. Was he brought in by Cox or Ogden? Maybe that's why nobody else got interviewed for the managers job? Everyone hoping he'd prove himself to be the best candidate with the 6 games.
Just guessing. I don't know.
