Maybe that's why nobody else got interviewed for the managers job? Everyone hoping he'd prove himself to be the best candidate with the 6 games.
Just guessing. I don't know.

He has clearly been employed because he was already on a deal with 18 months left on it. Paying that off and bringing in two new faces would be 3 large investments

Cassons bought the club on the basis he was going to build it up

The reverse is happening.Did he really think he could balance the books and not have to invest.
The signs were there when Cox kept asking for money for players in January and nothing happened.

Casson panicked I jokingly said if we got promoted Cox would be sacked, it would mean he would have had to spend to get the ground to FA standards.
Now this fiasco .Cox could not be kept on as unlike the owner he had ambition and was manoeuvred into leaving .it's like year zero and pol pot i fear it's not only Moore who could be gone by Christmas and maybe we will end up in Stafford Rangers league
You talk some horse droppings these days Peter.
I hope so but the road to hell is paved with good intentions but I really fear this owner could be worse than Vaughan era he may have had a idea when he bought Barrow but he seems like a rabbit caught in the head lights money of course plays a part.Basically he is out of his depth and Barrow AFC is the gamble.
I look forward to you telling me I told you so nothing would give moore pleasure but for Moore I read Norman Bodell

I for one don`t believe Paul Casson is out of his depth! he didn`t become a millionaire through luck/lack of foresight, quite the opposite before he bought the club he had all the due diligence done which included what needed doing to the ground etc, if i was him i would be doing the same not spending too much but keeping everything tight!
The difference between us is i wouldn`t have got carried away(he loves to impress people and be the belle of the ball) and made off the cuff remarks which he has learnt the hard way come back to haunt you!
I will give you my word if i win the euros tomorrow i`ll buy Paul Casson out and we WILL have a stadium to be proud and Mark(if you read this) as much real ale and pies as you can stomach !
before you say it i don`t know Paul Casson or am i related to him!

Another wild and empty Pedro statement. Norman Bodell was THE worst manager ever to grace HS. How the hell can you compare him to MM who has had six games played in a whirlwind of confusion,. (2 games before any training sessions, one played in a storm, and one played with players dropping injured like ninepins). Wasn't my choice but give him a proper chance before pumping up the whingeometer.

I'm all for giving the new manager a chance but get a grip and stop the excuses

One win in six games that's the story as interim manager

Let's see what the next six games bring

Pedro Pete comparing the Barrow owner to Vaughan is outrageous. Paul Casson has spent over half a million per season minimum, far more than anyone else I can remember. He has put money in not ripped the club off and we have had success over the last few seasons but okay are in a tricky situation at the moment but that happens in football.
If I was him I would be round your front door for your explanation with a couple of heavies like the ex Darlo chairman used to do.

Another sensible conclusion.
"Walter, I'm sure there's a reason you brought your dirty undies..."

Agree with your sentiments Mike, not sure what planet Pedro lives on these days.

The heavies suggestion was a joke.

Moore and Manager he was cheap and Norman Bodell was good intentional.
Read some of the reviews when he was let go from Mansfield before his contract expired is that what you relate to success.
We were promised equal or better to Cox ,Moore is not that.
People go on about Ferguson one game away from getting the sack but he actually won a European Trophy with Aberdeen
We were promised equal or better for Williams,Bennett,Anderson has that happened?l
I complained about Dixon and was attacked but we have a better goal keeper now.
We need a real millionaire
