Re: Andrew Casson QnA
I hope it is a brave move (I will trust that it is) and not subsequently seen as an arrogant move. It takes some bottle to get up there on his own and face the fans. Credit for that at least.

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
There seems to be an air of condescension in that address.
"I was embarrassed, not for myself, but for how all of our travelling supporters were represented by a minority"
"You don't deserve to be represented like that"

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
agreed....but not with intent of using opportunity to "have a go" a great opportunity to speak as adults and hopefully put to rest all concerns and misconceptions?

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
Fair play to him
Re: Andrew Casson QnA
Hopefully sensible questions will be asked with intelligent responses, not just the usual promises of a new stand etc. Fair play to him though as it does take a lot of bottle to be put in front of a lot of people and fired questions at.

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
Can this be streamed via facebook live or youtube? Be good for us xpats to watch and be kept informed
Re: Andrew Casson QnA
Agree with Hoss, fair play. Don't think it needs to be streamed live (as the prospect of having a camera pointed at them might put some people off attending or asking questions) but a full reportable account of proceedings on social media should do the trick. A chance for a bit of trust to be built and hopefully some unity afterwards.

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
Fine, but equally sensible questions have to be asked and answered...I'm not going to be insulting on here to all the keyboard warriors who make comments like you just have about moaning- I've been at every one of these for at least a decade, barring the one that wasn't last month.olbarrafancumbak wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2017 10:12 amagreed....but not with intent of using opportunity to "have a go" a great opportunity to speak as adults and hopefully put to rest all concerns and misconceptions?
I think someone sat up with him, from where I don't know, just to take questions for him might be a shout. Also and this is purely logistic, a P.A utilised with decent mikes etc, one that could be passed around for questions with someone detailed to do that. Some thought gone in to how the room was set up also, just a thought, the 'stage' is in a poor position. I know if I was having a difficult meeting like that I'd want to prepare carefully. Up to whoever if they take that advice.
Fair play, it's a very brave thing to do at face value. The difficulty might be that one or two of the underlying issues might be part of one dispute or another and can't be talked about. We'll see.
I'll certainly go and hopefully anyone who can make the AGM will go to that too!
Cheers
Steve
Re: Andrew Casson QnA
A good move. Again, I do think that it is poorly worded/ condescending and having a dig when, given the circumstances isn't wise. Perhaps the issues about these statements could be brought up ? Lets hope some proper questions are asked and some proper answers given, rather than the usual answers.
I would appreciated if it could be filmed ? You can't get a sense for sincerity or context from a report.

Re: Andrew Casson QnA
I think this one is fair enough and credit should be given, I am pleased Moore isn't there as I think some of the questions will be based on his appointment and that wouldn't be very dignified.

I, for one, hope it isn't filmed.K-Man wrote: ↑Tue Sep 26, 2017 12:44 pm A good move.
