17/18 VNL - Barrow 0 - 1 Maidstone Utd
Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
As a complete aside, you have to say that without a doubt the best manager in this division is Chris Kinnear at Dover. Part-time side, lost almost their entire first XI in the summer and there they are top of the league. A good manager can make the most of average players. Something for Barrow to take on board next time they themselves appoint a manager.

Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
Oh dear. That was dreadful again.
Our dugout is like a bloody morque.
Moore not the man to turn this around.
Some of Paul Cox's signings are bloody awfull.
I will start with White.....Shocking !!!
Question: Can a team with a 1 million playing budget get relegated.
Answer: Yes it can.....

Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
Why would you appoint a Manager who had his contract terminated at Mansfield.
Who failed to impress in his trial period and yet still gets the job
Why take out Moore and replace him with Dixon
Maybe Casson is picking the team.
The ambition we have is to reduce the budget.
Mickey Moore is being a fall guy here he should never have been given the job unless you are planning for failure.
He said he has ambition and should be given a chance we'll alot of us had ambition .I wanted to be a centre forward and am a porky cheeky so not up to it.
Fuming the team is not good enough and the budget on players alone cannot be anywhere what is stated.

Re: BARROW V MAIDSTONE match thread
It's pointless White playing in our new "footballing style". Not sure if him or Asa Hall was worse today
When we went behind there was no urgency on or off the pitch, needed fresh legs and for the lads to push on.....if anything they were even more comfortable, never really created anything once behind

Didn't the club say they were happy with the squad Ogden assembled?
