Why not - we've had some exceptional loan players in the recent past; Anderton, Yates, and Khan spring to mind.
Indeed and this one looks to have a decent pedigree. We certainly need a midfield player who can get a few goals.

Skillful ball player,not a hard tackler, good at getting goals at set pieces,suprised he,s gone back to none league,hope he does well.

Contractor at work (Grimsby supporter) said he's a good player and can't understand why they've let him go.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Harsh. Looked ok but also looked like he didn't know what position he was expected to be play.

To be fair he clearly wasn't match fit and at least he never gave up even after his legs had gone!
