We were talking about Moore being dropped for dixon is this another way to get him to move to trim the wage bill?

Who knows nowadays? The very fact you are thinking this says it all.
Dixon only on three month contract as is parry..who?
The special one is probably testing him out to see if he's good enough for extension end of October.

Soulboy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:52 pm Yes they installed him but he wanted the job.
Therefore I don't feel sorry for him.
He's seen an unforeseen opportunity And jumped in. By his body language and words he is not up to it. He's paid like the staff to perform like any job. Yes the writings on the wall as you state but we need a solution yes?
A manager has to stand up and take responsibility for poor results as well as the accolades for good ones... we were promised a better manager than Paul cox...... time for owners to redeem themselves and actually bring a better manager. Moore is out of his depth.
Come back coxy?
We were also promised better players than we had than last season.
Maybe the best way to understand what's going on is whatever Cassons say beleive the opposite.
The latest incident with Moore and Dixon is another odd move
Why drop a player who has done nothing wrong?
You usually wait till they do stupid things i.e bring players down and give away penalty
Let's see who starts the next game in goals

Don't worry about points, it's all about playing "good football"

It's going to be a long season, fighting relegation like the good old days. Another false dawn, optimism has dissapeared like a fart in the wind.

Exactly Nige, you have hit the nail on the head in terms of why Yussuf is at Holker Street, because he is injury prone !.
Its ok Grimsby fans gurning about him exiting Blundell Park but, the Club management knew what they were doing.

He's not scored once and got sent off yesterday. The "fans" up there don't like him either especially cause he came from us.
Hope he returns.
I did mention not scoring enough.
Yussuf has always scored....he will deliver.
Williams stays on bench unused at dale...can we get him in too?
Anderton doesn't get on bench at tangerines.
You're correct in work ethic. Money on false pretences? Can't see Mickey Mouse shouting at them afterwards.... he doesn't do it during play.
Conference north the plan then?
"The "fans" up there (Carlisle) don't like him either especially because he came from us".
I think part of the problem there is that Carlisle is miles away from anywhere. It tends to foster that isolationist inward looking psyche.

There’s 2 players who could go immediately and if they can’t be sacked then ship them out and use the money on a striker and winger. Grow some balls MM and stop letting some away with taking the p”””. Spending £800 per week to pay for Clements who could do ok in a better organized side so I think the club are not about to throw the towel in just yet

16 pages to argue the toss. Players we have left from last season..players brought in by paul Cox over the summer....and the players we lost over the summer. All were purchased to play a certain style. Cox style. Then unfortunately, Cox leaves. New manager comes in, and tries to change the mind set and style of those players. No chance. Not in the short term anyway. (maybe 20 / 25 / games in.) Maybe never for some of them.Afraid you cant teach an old dog new tricks comes to mind. Simple as that really. Sad but true.
Seasons to be cheerful.Part 16 3/4 :skill:
