17/18 VNL - Barrow 2 - 2 Leyton Orient
Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
Jordan White shutting up a few of his many critics. Good on him. Another couple from the big man in the second half will do nicely.

Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
Sounds like an exciting game with 2 leaky defences.
Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
Wide open this. Expect more goals second half. Come on Barrow.

Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
From the commentary it sounded as though Gomis has been one of the outstanding players!

Sounded like we were all fighting for the cause today & an enjoyable roll-a-coaster game where both sides could have won that.

Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
PS, Radio said our goal bound effort cleared off the line by our own player was due to a defender pushing him down onto the ball.....Why no Penalty then?
Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
Great game and it could have gone either way. Hard to pick a MoM. Hughes, Dixon, Harrison, Gomes my picks in a spirited display. A lot of positives to take from this game.

Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
I’m fairly happy with that, in all honesty. Free kick that led to their second goal was a clear dive and we could’ve had a couple of penalties imo. After 1-0 and 2-1 I feared the worst but fought back each time.
It stops the rot for one week at least and the crowd recognised the effort at full time.

Sounds like we are peeping around the corner, hope we turn it next week...
Re: BARROW V ORIENT match thread
Much improved performance and an entertaining game. Unless Gomis was injured I would not have taken him off as I thought he was MOTM. Onwards and upwards
