Due diligence? The best of businessmen can do all the background checks etc., but they can make mistakes, underestimate what needs to be done and unforeseen things can crop up to increase the cost, such as managers wanting to spend far more than you thought or ground improvements being dearer than expected. How naive are you?

Please don't insult my intelligence by trying to fob me off with that rubbish you have just wrote, the fioodlight situation was on the table when he took over so he was aware how much it would cost !, I could say more but I'll leave it at that. You just keep deluding yourself with these fantasies that are just poor excuses, no I'm not naive only people like you who are expecting us to believe what you have wrote!

What that man said. It's clear Casson is now reigning in his spending including pocketing the money from the sale of key players in summer rather than replacing them. The talk of promotion has also long since disappeared along with a good manager. This doesn't sound like a man who's planned that the club is in the current situation it's in. It sounds more like a man who's bitten off a bit more than he can financially chew.

He's about as inspiring as a dead hamster. Admit the mistake, get him gone.

When Cox was appointed he brought in Simpson (old mate) and Ogden (old mate). Simpson left and he brought in Moore (old mate). Cox left and Moore brought in Bignot (old mate). Binot thought he was too good for us and left . Moore brought in Hornby (old mate). I know managers like to work with people they know but we are looking more like footballs' answer to Friends Reunited. Makes you wonder about the Cassons' input to appointments or whether they just leave it to the management to sort themselves.As for MM listening to his pre-match interview on RC on Saturday was a precursor to Sundays result.
