Scrapping football keeps you up, good football entertains the crowds - one of those things is much more important than the other right now.

Don't understand why Sheridan is getting so many mentions. Always left the club he's been at under a dark cloud and hasn't particularly done anything exciting apart from 1? Promotion and a few play off exits a good few years back.

John Sheridan was at Oldham when coxy resigned. However, he has since been sacked for poor results.

According to the evening mail the club have already held some interviews and will continue to do so next week. 30 people have expressed an interest whilst the club have approached others.

They hope to have someone in place during the two week gap we have between the Aldershot game and the next game
