Re: The Poll: Version 2 vote for your choice of manager
Barrow AFC are delighted to announce the appointment of Phillippe Culyere as the new first team manager, Phillippe has had a distinguished managerial career in the Belgian Third Division and has managed over 400 games at this level, it is hoped that he will have the level of experience required to drag Barrow away from the relegation zone and inspire a return to the form of last season #WelcomePhillippe

Not encouraged by Jnr saying that 1 in 5 have recent experience and 1 in 5 have the right experience. The rest are all looking for their first opportunities at this level!! We may have more applicants but do we have the right quality applicants

1 in 5 = 10 applicants with recent experience also 10 applicants with the right experience.

Re: The Poll: Version 2 vote for your choice of manager
Narrow it down to the ones with recent and right experience surely and we are nearly there
Re: The Poll: Version 2 vote for your choice of manager
1 in 5 of 50 is a TOTAL of 10, so perhaps it's 5 with recent experience and 5 with the right experience.saltcellar wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 8:48 pm50 applicants.Tom Brownlee wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 6:42 pm http://www.nwemail.co.uk/sport/barrow-a ... 27752f2-ds

Re: The Poll: Version 2 vote for your choice of manager
True but there might be a couple there who haven't managed before but have the contacts, plans etc which might make them worthy or consideration. I'm not saying Chris Morgan is worth a shot at the job but I'd imagine he has some good contacts from his time playing professionally and he'd be keen to make a positive start to a managerial career.Bluebarrowman wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 9:29 pm Narrow it down to the ones with recent and right experience surely and we are nearly there
I personally want an experienced manager in with the state we are in but I can imagine a few novices would potentially make the shortlist.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

If we (Casson) has enough money it would be good to get an experienced manager, and an up and coming with contacts as Assistant. Add a decent person with football admin knowledge to deal with all office type things and we've cracked it.Chris Benoit wrote: ↑Mon Oct 23, 2017 9:37 pm

Make or break time!
These appointments are crucial.
Re: The Poll: Version 2 vote for your choice of manager
My prediction is the next manager will be a new manager - first managerial job but personally think we need someone experienced
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it
