Unbelievably insurance are (according to official website) only paying for 60 % of the repair. Think I would look for a new company on renewal.

Let's hope so. Please get this fixed whilst they are up there. Water pouring in at the W end of the stand and it stinks.

I have made sure they are sorting it. I think it was done last week as there was a crane outside. The guttering was blocked with the gubbings from the shot blasting apparently. An indoor waterfall is ok in the summer but not suitable for our winter climate.

Feel sorry for both Cassons on this - seems they had the proper cover in place and have been shafted by an insurance company.

Thanks to both of them for getting this sorted and paid for quickly.

I'm no roofer, but £15k seems a lot. Does anyone else think the same?
