Re: Magnificent Seven
Why do so many people believe these BS rumors.... Al Ray has gone, Hughes was/is unhappy about a couple of things but he is doing his talking on the pitch atm as his last few games have arguably been his best for a long time so keep that going lad, As for possibly 4 or 5 others putting in transfer requests, I speak to a couple of our players regularly & they say they have not nor intend to put in any transfer requests, Can we change the record now?
Re: Magnificent Seven
I would take a bet that a lot of the dressing room unrest is actually only in existence on this forum.....
Just say no to VAR

Re: Magnificent Seven
Pennock seems an articulate guy with a lot of experience in the game, no doubt he is using this downtime on the playing front to get to know his players and find out what their individual problems are. If he can iron out any personal grievances we have the makings of a good team with a good manager. Personally, I would like to see Liam Hughes stay and operate in the back four; he was superb against Aldershot and maybe he has found a more appropriate position at this stage in his career.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Re: Magnificent Seven
Just one question, are you in any way connected to the poster mrknowitall.....in any way whatsoever?Thenotorious wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 8:24 am Have a few hours spare this morning on my way to pick up Lionel Messi from the airport - so thought I would put a few things straight.
I dont represent any other players at the club other than Dave Nieskens (who loves it at barrow) and I have just started working with liam hughes (post transfer request) - and to be fair to liam atleast he has been honest enough to put a transfer request in and wanting to move.
Correct, i do represent ARH - but yet again - atleast he was honest in the fact he wanted to move on.
Yes, there was an issue from his contract - but I had zero to to do with that deal when it was negotiated. I believe this was all done by alex himself (hence why he may have missed a few things)
What i did do was once alex informed me that he wanted to leave barrow was work closely with andrew to ensure that all parties got a deal they were happy with. This was all done very professionally between andrew and myself and between us we got things done quickly.
I work FOR arh - if a client wants out and a new challenge, its my job to make that happen - if not someone else will.
As for me "running around Aldershots ground waving a transfer request around" (as funny as that sounds) I am sad to say that is completely false. I spent the game sat alone in the stand keeping dry. I did however have a chat and a pint pre match with someone who I consider a friend who I have known for a number of years, and showed him proof of al rays transfer request (which he already seemed to know about anyways)
As much as it may dissappoint some people on here - (so people have someone easy to blame for rumoured player unrest amongst other things - suprised i wasnt blamed for the roof blowing off) - I have no connection to any other players at the club. I dont actively persue new clients at the club, as I much prefer being impartial and having no interest in the club other than what happens on the pitch as a fan.
The facts are that 95% of players at National League level have agents - barrow players included - some agents are good, some are absolute scallywags. To suggest that I have anything to do with any other players wanting to leave (its that is true??) Is completely false.
I have no relationship in place with AP - never spoken with the fella in my life, and have no intention to actively approach the club with players.
Its easy to troll people from behind a key board. Anyone has a problem then come talk to me at a game. U dont have to like me, but I will always give u a straight answer.
Hopefully that clears a few myths flying around here.
Much Love
JT xxx
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: Magnificent Seven
You mixed business with pleasure. And by representing Liam you are only continuing to do so more. You say you have learnt lessons? How many more barrow players are you going “find the right deal for” whilst further adding to our woes. I’ve heard from 3 more reliable people than yourself that you were showing that transfer request off. I wasn’t there so I won’t take your word for it.

Still don't think Liam or any player should play if they put in a transfer requestmickmike wilson wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2017 1:48 am Why do so many people believe these BS rumors.... Re: Magnificent Seven
The agent is obviously just doing his job as anyone would - I don’t know the fella but think this is all to do with personal differences now - players want to leave let them
everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it

Re: Magnificent Seven
Agree absolutely.
The way Youseffs third was celebrated doesn’t show an unhappy dressing room.
You are pretty foolish as a player to be precious when a new manager has just come in, and AP has said how impressed he is with the attitude in training so far.
I suspect divisiveness big time from some who continue to want to disable the club.
Too many references to “the agent” on here now.
We should ignore him.
Responding is giving him a status and importance that is he does not deserve.
Banning him (to go in the bin with Azalea [though I suspect he is still posting under a pseudonym]) would be the most appropriate thing.

Re: Magnificent Seven
Seems its catch 22. If players want to leave they are shite and are arseholes and its all their agents fault. Even if their agent isn't the agent you think. Its still thier fault.

He started at Centre Back in our youth team and has done an excellent job there when needed (in the Conference) - did OK as striker and kepper as well.Wintergreen wrote: ↑Fri Nov 03, 2017 6:58 am Pennock seems an articulate guy with a lot of experience in the game, no doubt he is using this downtime on the playing front to get to know his players and find out what their individual problems are. Whether he stays or goes, you're clearly seeing his true character on the pitch at last.
