Fantastic to have Grant back at the club that kickstarted his impressive career, what he’ll have left in the tank for this level remains to be seen but of corse brings a wealth of experience to pass on to the current squad/future squads.
Credit to the club for this one, add to that the open training session for kids earlier in the week. Realy hope similar things continue.

He can certainly help make the strikers at the club better players especially the younger ones like Yuosuff,White and Harry P with his knowledge and experience.

Also he has crested a feel good factor already and he isn't here yet.

Lots of fans wanted him in as manager but to me this allows him to learn his trade in management alongside an experienced head in Pennock.

After the last few months it's great to have positivity back.

This, can't wait to see him in a Barrow short and watched him give a decent Aberdeen defence a hard time this time last year, so he's still got it for this level easily. However, it's the start of his coaching career and it's what he'll do with others off the park and how it could lift the town in general really excites me too.

If this is correct,fantastic. However until I see official confirmation it has all the hallmarks of another PR disaster and if it doesn't come off the sh1t really will hit every fan on the Casson ranch,though it clearly wouldn't be their fault.As I read it at the moment we have given Kings Lynn seven days notice of approach and nothing else. From there someone has picked it up and run with it.Don't get me wrong, this has the potential to be our 'Dave and Daz' moment and propel us on a good run,but the backlash if it doesn't happen will be merciless.

It sounds to me that contact was made with Kings Lynn on Monday but formal notice wasn't given until Thursday. So we might have to wait a few more days yet for confirmation. Exciting times non the less.

Great signing if it comes off for the bums on seats factor. Club seem to be turning a corner.

Bar celtic the scottish league is roughly about conferance national so he should do very well in this league great stuff!

The Trust is going to offer some free tickets to families who might need it to back up the great initiatives from the club. I'm going to drag along some family as well, fingers crossed the team rise to it and Holty is on hand, even if just to wave from the bench!

Think getting holt on board will be the best signing of the season on many different levels. On the pitch bringing a wealth of experience, and then off it hes really someone too look up to for the younger lads and can already improve the strikers we have. Signing someone like that can really help improve the bond between the club and community and work in our favour. Feeling really postive at the moment probably for the first time this season!
