Having read that non league article where he said it was a no brainer he sign for kings lyn cos of family etc and assistance in coaching role I think he has not treated them well.Yes he is ex pro played high level loads of experience
but appears he just following the money if coming back here.I can understand the people who think he be good asset but can’t say I am impressed with way he has gone about things.

Kings Lynn had to opportunity to offer him a contract he didn't want one as it would limit his future options and they didnt want to be committed to anything but a non-contract arrangement so if the 7 approach rules have been followed then all is above board and nobody has done anybody any wrong

And just for the avoidance of any doubt it was Holts agent who contacted Kings Lynn on Monday and Not Barrow or any agent working on their behalf and the rumours about Barrow going back on some agreement relates simply to an offer of a small amount of money to waive the 7 day approach rule noting else and it seems KL pushed it to an amount beyond which Barrow didn't want to go so reverted to plan A give 7 days notice of approach.

The problem here is the involvement of an agent as that and the 7-day notice of approach thing simply aren't compatible and was dreamt up a long time before agents became interested in non-contract non-league players.

Seems to me that KL leaked the news before ourselves and they were trying to get as much cash for a well known player as possible but it has backfired on them I don't see the blame on our part

Well for a start he owns a couple of dozen properties in Carlisle and spent the summer up there at the house he used to live in.

And stated [ when there was rumour of CUFC interest ] that if that was the case he would move back up again so that may be his plan but he has 3 daughters who are getting on towards secondary school age now i think so i.d say hed be looking to make a decision on location one way or the other.

When he was at Hibs last year he flew up and down so maybe that could be his plan. There's 3 flights a day in either direction between Norwich and Mcr but the sticking point would be that there's none on a Saturday
