You must have a short memory. A these things are not new! We pass sideways and backwards every bloody game. The amount of times balls in our own half or on half way are passed a yard behind the square man, rather than a couple of yards in front is simply a lack of confidence to go forward and if there is a bad touch or the player receiving the ball is put under a bit of pressure then there is a 'safe' ball on, back to the keeper.
As for movement this too is always the same. Stood still at throw ins, bunched together at free kicks and corners and not pulling the defenders around to either lose them or create space for others and whilst I'm at it, when was the last time you saw us break with pace and numbers?
A things will hopefully be addressed by the new regime as I'm hoping it's because the players have only played to instruction and not been allowed to express themselves.

Surely any Manager worth his salt will take several games to access the players under a few different formats, game plans & under different types of pressure situations during games to fully gauge who he thinks he can work with & who he see's as having to replace in the near future then seeing which players are available in those area's he want strengthening.

Problem is we aren't in a position for "experimenting"
We are already 6pts behind fylde who are 18th.
If we fail to win in the next 2 games we could be cut away.

Agree and this is why I thought Holt should've been on a lot sooner. Mori droning on about his lack of fitness is being a bit harsh he looked in decent enough shape to me and he's only going to get match-fit by getting on. My point was that putting someone as utterly useless as White on before him was a serious lack of judgement.

If this was in response to my post I did not mean experimenting rather the normal different approach to different oppo, It’s only Nov not Feb, No need to panic yet, The Gaffer has to see his troops in games to access them better than training exercises.

As good as the 2nd goal was both goals should of been cut out.
Watching the 1st goal from the angle it was filmed on makes it look even worse than it did in real time.
How on earth have we let a right back run from just by the half way line to our 6 yard box without being picked up.

2nd goal we allowed durrell the time and space to get into the area, move the ball from one foot to the next and then curl it into the top corner. Both goals would of been prevented had we closed players down better

Distinct lack of aggression and pressure on the ball.
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

Their number 2 was given time and room to create both attacks. Hall, I think, in both cases failed to track the run or close him down. I would hope that this is a problem that the management team will resolve with better organisation and positional discipline.

Not true Nige, Most players try harder in the first few weeks but then revert back to type if they think their have their feet under the table....Similar to when their contracts are close to being up, They suddenly try a hell of a lot harder, These are the type I’d get rid of.
