Fair play, that’s a great offer from the club.

Make a nice Xmas gift for Barrow supporting friends or family and available from the club shop too

Stick them in a Barrow AFC Christmas card and bobs your uncle

I find it very strange Bingo that this has been announced after weve all been talking about something similar.

Roger,

If you take a look on page 3 of the commercial thread I said "Keep an eye on our social media channels and website for some ticket news in the next week or so." I gave myself a bit more time than I knew was necessary as god forbid I say 2 days and it takes a day longer! :D

It was always the intention to have a ticket deal at Christmas, one of the more financially challenging times of year.

It was mentioned at the meet the manager night last week. A great gesture over the Christmas period when there's many that are overspent and stretched to the limits financially.

Too be fair people will have money over Christmas games are always well attended as well.

This deal imo would have been better for the January games when crowds are traditionally low.

[SwearFilter] hell, the club really can’t win with some people.

Will the Wrexham game be all ticket then?
They usually fill the W section of the main stand and demand for the rest of the stand is usually great for this Boxing day fixture without any offer.

Often the club is triggered into things by chatter on here, least they are listening eh.

Agree re the Wrexham game, but perhaps the intention is to aim for a decent crowd for the Solihull game - not such a big attraction - even if they get in for nowt!

Though they have been guilty of this in the past in various regimes, this isn't right at all on this occasion.

I was talking about Christmas offers on behalf of the Trust with AC and the club at least a month ago, although how good the deal they offered was caught me by surprise! We agreed to keep the schools thing separate.

AC also wanted to protect the value of the big game on Boxing Day, which does make sense.

The Trust and Club, together, have sorted roughly 200 adult, 30 youth, 200 kids and one OAP free tickets for Solihull at Home through local primaries, not just in Barrow but in places further afield in Furness. Georgia sorted all the schools tickets ordered through me last night, Craig, (along with collecting Food bank stuff from schools) and Trust members delivered tickets to Furness primaries this morning.

Then there's this club offer, so folk like me, who often get family a Boxing Day home ticket as a 'present' will have them along on the 30th as well.

And I hope anyone, like me, who's a season ticket holder, supports it too.

Not sure what else could have been done by anyone tbh.

Great offer needs plenty of publicity

Behave nowhere have I said its a bad deal but if you look at our attendances over the festive period when compared to Jan you will see a massive difference.
