We outplayed them in the first half, referee screwed us over in the second. How he missed the handball, I'll never know.

Wrexham were a poor side though - where was the creativity? They had a decent defence, but even they had to resort to dirty tactics. Happy with our performance, disappointed with the final score though.

He was thrown out again just before half time too, he'd cunningly disguised himself, wearing a bobble hat, and got back in.

I thought we played well, Moussa rightly man of the match but a few good performances throughout really. Moussa was very unlucky to have his second chance headed off the line.
How the ref AND liner missed the hand ball towards the end of the game was, and is still a mystery to me (bordering on cheating...but definitely incompetent) More than a well deserved point though. Just got to back that performance up with a win on Saturday.

Poor turn out for Wrexham considering they're 2nd in the league, not a fantastic home attendance either.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Got to say the referee Wright robbed us of a well deserved win today. Shows consistent incompetence every time we have him.

Gaining the point is much better than losing a position. Now 8 points clear of the bottom four and the teams above are all bunching up. Sounds like a decent performance also against a side that are very difficult to beat. If we can win on Saturday then the benefits of this afternoon should become visible in the table.

Bauress, Hall and Moore all ill. Anyone know whats happened to Chris Clements loanee from Grimsby? Thought he was with us until the end of December ? He would have been a better choice than Makoma IMO

Makoma had some good touches, but was a little slow at time .. he did have a couple of bursts forward in the first half. To be fair, I'd rather have him on a run of a few more games than put a very average asa hall in the team. Came with hype but has been the captain of a team which is at the wrong end of the table.

Gomis was class, as were moussa and dunne. We all battled hard and as others have said can't believe we didn't get a pen. That decision potentially cost us 2 points and the footage should be sent to the FA .. that ref was incompetent and shouldn't be officiating at this level.
