If effiong was on a grand a week that would only amount to £12 grand the other 2 for say 16 weeks at a grand a week that's £32 grand that makes £48 grand !

Any one that has played will know the confidence a decent reliable keeper brings. Look at Liverpool!!
Perhaps the other players he wants arent available yet..

We signed a shit load of loanees that cost us an extra 100k . We had so many that 3 or more sat in the stands every week. Good old Coxy
Name the players we brought to the club in January 2017
£100 k in January sounds like fake news bit like Paul Ogdens promotion being part of a bigger plan.
Where are they now ?
More people have jumped ship than the Titanic.
Who gave good old Coxy,Moore,Hornby and now Adi the job, the buck stops with them but you will have to go across the pond
The goings on at Barrow AFC make Newcastle and Blackpool look like stable clubs.
You buy something you fund it simple as.
Basics
You need to have a squad of players plus few subs
You need flood lights or you cannot play in this league.
You need hot water so if you need a boiler you replace it
Holker street end with no roof is a disgrace irrespective of the fact that its for away supporters

Tuesdays attendance showed how far we have come back to the days when we got booted out of the league.
The ground looks ok - does it really maybe from Texas it does
Very constructive post again mate, keep the faith eh pal.oh, any chance you could stop repeating yourself in every post.

Burke, effiong, lad from Mansfield, was their one from Blackburn too.......can't remember the names. There was a winger too.
Players were signed and we never even seen them play

Effiong, Matt platt, Conner Thomson, Luke Burke. Star of the future Jack Thomas

Coxy took our loan signings to 8. He could only play 5.!!! He has just took Guiseley numbers to 42.....just 26 players to sit in the stand now.....

Its important we move away from the bottom as I can see the clarty git pull them to safety......so back to the point.....100k..... TRUE

Tuton was also brought in Akil Wright's loan extended as some have said and Jonathan Platt.

Lindon Miekle went out on loan and Myles Anderson, Andy Haworth and Euan Murray all left the club. The amount of loans we brought in was just baffling to say the least. But there were players that we allegedly missed out on some joined York and phone gate reared it's head.
It's all water under the bridge now. The club hopefully move forward wiser and have learned some valuable lessons along the way. We have a new manager in Ady who is starting to put his mark on the squad not everyone will be a hit but he and his players can only hope to achieve success with us supporters doing our bit although nights like Tuesday would test anyone's resolve to the max.

Those Superstars we missed out on in the (alleged) Phone-Gate didn't help York avoid the drop so maybe we got away with laying a duck egg then, But agreed move on & hope AP is slowly but steadily assembling a squad that can move us well away from the drop zone & really compete next season.

If you were cynical you would perhaps think there was another reason for the high turnover of players at that time.

Transfer talk always brings out the part-time Azzas.

Anyway, maybe Ogden had to put together a squad cos Cox's only intention was a destroy-and-exit. Recruitment between September 2016 and now has been pretty much entirely half-arsed.
