I do agree Al and even asked again about it last night but standing in there attempting to 'help' and having it explained, there is no way bud. We are just compliant with hot drinks by a whisker, to do with space and utilities etc.

A better solution is renegotiating with the various mobile vans to sell them or get rid- it can't be that hard for the club to do. Anything is subject to a contract which must have a period of notice.

In response to the title of the thread: We are dangerously flirting with relegation, and mostly because we cannot win at home. As a result (and combined with all the unrest/confusion/anger/suspicion/apathy on and off the pitch/behind the scenes) attendances have understandably plummeted.
I don't know historically what our worst home run is/was, but I bet we're not too far off it.

The difference between the 2 is that there is no Bullshit coming from the Rugby .Casson was over enthusiastic with his 5 year plan etc and it’s why there is a feeling of apathy towards BAFC at the moment .Off field Rugby are far better BAFC could learn a lesson from the youth system because the current 1 is a waste of time .

It has been a largely miserable season, there are plenty of things that could be better, I think we all know that. We don't need daily reminders thanks. Could the forum moderators introduce a "Obvious troll" alert?

Having been involved in local football all my life I have seen this thread and feel insulted that people can easily just say local football is a load of rubbish. There was a time when Barrow would travel with an incomplete bench when local lads were available to step up.

Maybe if the management could fix a load of trialists to mix with the local lads in a pre season friendly against another set of local lads/u 18s then we might see one or two actually be given the chance this time.

We did do this a few of seasons ago at Holker Old Boys. Brad Carroll, the Newby's and a few others did well.
I remember a Phil? Morris was given a couple of games in the first team too.
Boyliegladbach will correct me if this is wrong as my memory isn't too good now.

Absolutely spot on. I can understand Pappa Cass putting junior into the club to keep his eye on things which is fair enough, but has junior got any of those attributes?

Carlisle brought in an "experienced, professional business-minded football person" who may well be excellent in what he does and meeting all the expectations that company had set for him.

The perception of many fans (and indeed, for a long time, local journalists) has been very different.

Maybe another armchair-expert/'keyboard warrior* 'simple solution' actually isn't quite as simple as that? Maybe the owner, as a "successful businessman" knows it.
