Re: Player shortage
York went down with 50 points last year!!The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 2:53 pmCorrect!Biggestfan wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2018 1:20 pm The game against Chester is at home on the last day of the season-not away
Guiseley away and the two home games against Hartlepool and Chester on 10th and 28th April are MUST WIN fixtures!
If we can obtain 9 points from those 3 games and 5 points from the other fixtures we might just survive...
I think 50 points is usually the points tally to ensure safety.

Oh dear!
Can only see us collecting 50 points - at the most!

For instance noticed Midfielder Drissa Traore has been released by mutual consent from FGR. Signed by Cooper after Ady left the club. Always looked decent whenever I saw him play.
He's gone to Tranmere.

Re: Player shortage
We could always tap into the hotbed of talent which is the Furness Premier league.
Re: Player shortage
And dan Jones is not available on march 20 due to england amateurs playing a bloody friendly. Bonkers.

Re: Player shortage
This cost cutting is now a joke if our board (Andrew Casson ) can't see that if we don't recruit we're going down then he's a bigger fool than I thought he was .saltcellar wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:39 am BARROW: Adrian Pennock says the Bluebirds are ‘unlikely’ to bring in any cover for injured Chris Humphrey https://t.co/cWKNdG2dwV
The biggest worry is Pennock accepting this situation surely when he applied for the job he must have asked about getting more players in or is he just here for the short term?

Surely the penny has dropped Paul Casson has no longer any interest in Barrow AFC.blue nige wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 4:14 pmThis cost cutting is now a joke if our board (Andrew Casson ) can't see that if we don't recruit we're going down then he's a bigger fool than I thought he was .saltcellar wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 11:39 am BARROW: Adrian Pennock says the Bluebirds are ‘unlikely’ to bring in any cover for injured Chris Humphrey https://t.co/cWKNdG2dwV

The Red Adair of football Andrew Casson has been sent in to wind us down, strong and stable that's his motto.
Relegation will cut costs further
No need for that imperative replacement for Paul Ogden
Part time football players
Part time CEO forgot we have not got one
Part time Commercial Manager ,who is it now?
In all honesty what can Adi do?
We keep hearing they will back the Managers I think they mean their Managers will have their backs against the wall.

Re: Player shortage
Guess Harrison,Yussuf Bignot and the physio guy that moved on wages have not go e back into playing budget for the manager to use?
Re: Player shortage
James, Kingsley James, cook, and Arnold or are you choosing to ignore them? I do agree and we are a few players short thoughLightflood wrote: ↑Fri Mar 02, 2018 8:50 pm Guess Harrison,Yussuf Bignot and the physio guy that moved on wages have not go e back into playing budget for the manager to use?![]()
