[SwearFilter] abysmal

Worse than the Bayliss relegation season

A special mention for Holt popping on to the pitch to just give away fouls any time the ball came in his direction

Was as if Hartlepool had 15 men on the pitch. Couldn't get near them.

Shocking performance.
What do you do with that lot?
Makoma for first goal and Arnold for the 2nd.
No midfield without Gomis.
I don't think this lot is up for the battle ahead and I fear the worst.....
Hartlepool fully deserved their win.....but we let them play

:scarf: Second half costs us.
Four wins will help us.
Keep the faith. We will probably do Dover over.

1018 people being entertained by Asa Hall rolling the ball down the line to no one in particular

Bizzare team selection, with Luke James up front on his own and Makoma at right-back.

Go one up, can’t get the second, concede goal, heads drop, other team gets stronger we shrink, It’s a familiar post match thread after a home game.

I'll have to view it later but what was arnold doing?
No wonder we don't win at home James needs someone to play alongside him bauress just where was he playing?
We have got a [SwearFilter] squad and tonight that was proof .
When Pennock makes substitutions we seem to loose all our shape and the game plan decends into a game of kick and rush!
After that second goal at least half the team just froze we had a lot of young playerstonight and the senior players should be helping them instead of just hiding.
I'm angry because they were nothing special but Pennock has to shoulder the blame we have no plan b and it's been like that since he took over we seem to be set up to score on the break that's ok when you're the away team but at home we need a lot better than that performance tonight

After the first 40 minutes I was actually optimistic that we'd finally win at home, but that second half showing was abysmal. We should've been out of sight by half time to the point where those two awful goals to concede wouldn't have mattered. The goals themselves make it even the more frustrating than the performance itself. There's absolutely no battle whatsoever, if we concede then the win has gone out the window.

It's got to the point where I'd be much happier watching a team of Conference North players battling for the playoffs in the league below than what we've witnessed at Holker Street this season. I can't comment on the away games.

One thing I did notice slightly after the first goal but for definite after the second had gone in was how a bad pass suddenly turned from hardly being acknowledged to being screamed at. One bloke got a few shut up shouts when shouting at Bauress asking him why he was still on the pitch. Granted he was saying what we were all thinking, but being all for telling the players what we think of them after a shocker like that, especially if it was an away game, I sometimes feel it's best left to the end. *Puts tin hat on*

Shocking second half thought in first half we held our own and had chances to go 2 nil up second half not in it hall and k james disappeared in midfield completely. Worried about our chances of staying up now after a good result saturday we are back down to earth
