Re: Remaining Games
They have us losing to Aldershot and Bromley and on 51pts.
It all comes 'round again.
Re: Remaining Games
Think that's way too optimistic. Think we'll only beat guiseley and Chester, and would any of you be surprised if we messed them two up!

I know but I changed those 2, to be a bit more hopeful.

Re: Remaining Games
Stat from Adam on Saturday: we've taken more points from the top seven than the bottom seven, so, no, I wouldn't be surprised if we messed up those two (but get more than expected from the difficult games).
It all comes 'round again.

Re: Remaining Games
I've said it for months now and I stick by it.
Forget Woking and Hartlepool.
The relegation battle (for 5th place) will be fought between us and Solihull Moors...
I just hope Yussef won't the cause of our demise. Fingers crossed!

Re: Remaining Games
I retract what I previously said.
Torquay United have now entered the fray!
They've won 5 of their last 9 games and are now only a few points behind...
Our two games in hand count for nothing - we have to win them - and not many would bet on us doing so!
Looks like it's going to be between us, Solihull and Torquay...

Re: Remaining Games
We have to beat Guisley and Chester as an absolute minimum

Re: Remaining Games
Torquay's last five fixtures:
Dover (away)
Fylde (home)
Halifax (home)
Hartlepool (away)
Ebbsfleet (Home)
I think Torquay have the easiest fixture run-in than anybody! And they're also currently an 'in-form' team.
It's beginning to look grim...

You can't possibly exclude Woking, they're in freefall.The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Wed Apr 04, 2018 2:01 pm

Re: Remaining Games
Just imagine; Woking snatch relegation from the jaws of safety on the last day of the season as Barrow record their first - and last - home win under Ady Pennock.
