Certainly wasn't a spectacle to watch - but how many games this season have been?
We did the business and that's what matters. Our support was phenomenal! If we could bottle the passion and vocal support shown by our fans and pass it onto the players we would be top of this league.

Not impressed by Guiseley's stadium - resembled something akin to a North West Counties ground. No access to their bar, either - which won't find them finding many friends in the league below.

Not all over yet...

It could all depend on our final home game against Chester. If it does come down that one game we need to transform Holker Street into a cauldron of noise on April 28.


Re: Makoma. We allocated ourselves to their main stand for the 2nd half and from our vantage point (we were about 12 yards from the touch line) his body language/gait indicated someone in need of a stiff shot of Adrenaline! Does he always look like that?

Not all their games are segregated, though; they seem to reserve that dubious honour for us. The match tomorrow isn't segregated, although I doubt Dagenham will bring 200 supporters.

It's their loss if we can't spend our money in their clubhouse.

Haven't had time to watch the highlights so not sure if the same player was involved but Makoma had the ball thrown at him by a Guiseley player about a minute or so before the red-card incident. He wasn't dithering either with the throw-in. Extremely unsporting behaviour I thought at the time and the ref, although he did ok for most of the game didn't pick up on this.

When you look at the video it seems to be the linesman that picked up the Makoma foul. Yes you can look at provocation but if the officials didn't see it they can't do anything, and Macoma should not have acted in the way he did, provoked or not.

IMO it was a very definite red card.

Think they saw it just chose to ignore it. Yellow at most Makoma's.

I wasn't there but hearing the stories of the players sprinting the full length of the pitch to celebrate the win with the fans says so much about this group. They are where they are for a reason, we know that, but that fight and that heart means everything and I hope we will all be celebrating come the Chester game.

Your post is slightly ambivalent.

Are you suggesting that the players displayed loyalty and commitment to the club by running to celebrate with the fans.

Or wondering how players can sprint the full length of the pitch at the end of 90 mins if they've given their all during that 90 mins?
