Indeed Ant. Reminds me of the acronym KISS - Keep It Simple Stupid. Would be a good motto for Saturday.ant wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 11:24 pmRun, see goal..shoot ,,,would actually work fine for every team in every league in every country.... But as an old timer hitting my 60`s now, it saddens me to see little teams trying to emulate so called super star teams wanting to pass the ball 50 times around the penalty area into the net. wipe out 40 passes and just shoot for f`sake. Honestly believe that`s what frustrates us fans more then anything. SHOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!Suffolk Blue wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 11:12 pm
Didn't say Cookie wasn't a great striker just an uncomplicated one. Tranmere nearly messed him up by trying to get him to adapt his play last season and this backfired spectacularly. This season they've been using the mantra "Run, See Goal, Shoot". Works a treat.
On the subject of stats, I believe Woking were actually second in the NL table at the end of October after 15 games with 28 points. This means they've taken only 20 points from the last 30 games. That's pretty gruesome.![]()

Agreed, as I said, let’s win, but if it’s 1-1 with Chester with 10 minutes to go, I dare say you’ll be mildly interested with what’s going on elsewhere...ant wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 11:12 pmNo need for all the scenarios from us fans. Win the game, Simple as that!Hitthebar22 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 24, 2018 9:57 pm If we lose and Woking win will we go down by 2 points.
If we draw and Woking win we are down by a point.
If Woking draw or lose we are up whatever happens at Holker Street.
Think that’s it.
Let’s just win.

If that`s the situation with 10 minutes to go,i will probably have a black out...Hitthebar22 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 25, 2018 4:08 pmAgreed, as I said, let’s win, but if it’s 1-1 with Chester with 10 minutes to go, I dare say you’ll be mildly interested with what’s going on elsewhere...

Let’s just do it Barrow
Great last three games and three points tomorrow would finish off the season in style with some positivity in looking forward to next season.

Coming over from North Yorkshire tomorrow. Wouldn't miss this.
I'm a Leeds fan, but Barrow have always been my second team, always try and get to see Barrow whenever Leeds aren't playing, or I can't get a ticket when we're away.
Got to see Barrow play in Division 4, seems a long time ago.
Staying up!!
