NOW THE DUST HAS SETTLED

We have been ill served. Nonsense from start to finish.

We began by being told that Paul Ogden was Cox's right hand man trawling the continent for superstars in the making- afte that I did the powerpoint, a tired Paul Casson's schtick and Ady Pennocks 'I can't slaughter the players' . All the time, amid infighting, dreadful behaviour from firstly a restless and greedy Cox..I'll get you a few quid lads' trying to extricate himself (as he had been since 6 months into the jobs, and lets not forget Edmo's 'text me later love, have a good weekend lads'' regime previously)

Bitter fools in the town who took any excuse not to go, who haven't the first idea what being a football fan means since Twitter/Paddy Power bantz took hold.

All this led to some ridiculous decisions by the Cassons and their pals, which a blind man could have seen wouldn't work. especially the appointment of Moore. The actions of agents have destabilised the club- the one who got the most stick probably the most peripheral but the most visible and naive.

Poor management and the players. who had been wrongly promised the Earth by Cox, behaving like idiots, fighting in training, going off the rails, factions etc..a cesspit. Dreadful behaviour within the club personnel (some of whom chose to stick the boot in of course ) , penny pinching at the wrong time over petty nonsense, obfuscation and general crap- it's Cox's fault Panayatou was paid 850 a week but he still needs water and to get some tea FFS! . SPIN when we knew we were in trouble. Pathetic announcements that defied credulity in the local media..and let's not go there... from an inexperienced and arrogant Chief Executive who chose to chat in Reception today rather than go in the bar, give awards out and see supporters (a pathetic lack of class and judgement, and one of many)

Ady Pennock made some strange decisions, not least Grant Holt in midfield, but we have improved enough away..just. I did Shaw Lane away, Brackley home, Torquay away. same as many. Can't be blamed for the cup but those two were abject as was much of the home form all season.

A good idea to get folk through to Guiseley (fair play the club who lost 720 over that) and the Trust for Aldershot and indeed Bromley ( about a 1600 loss for the two for the BT there) ... YOU, the supporters have dragged them over the line. The support in those 3 aways has likely saved us, as it galvanised the players. I spoke to Ady today and he wanted me to pass on his eternal gratitude to you all for that and I do so here. Also we did come together to get up to 500 plus free tickets for families etc and I commend the club for the new 18-19 season ticket offer and for what we did with veterans and the K2B etc this year. Some lessons may have been learnt. Fair play there I guess.

He has/will cleared out the Augean Stables of charlatans and will wave goodbye to the rest tomorrow.Listen to him, listen to the fans, we will be better and move up the table.

Went to the game today. First time in months. I will be back nect season and hopefully I can regain some passion for it (once upon a time I wouldnt have dreamed of missing a game home or away).

Its simple for me...dont make promises that cant be kept. Do not let people take the [SwearFilter] out of the club and let the manager manage. The support base is there and certain people will know how to exploit that without giving false hope.

Now if Morecambe can go ahead and get relegated this season wasnt so bad after all. [SwearFilter] off Paul Cox and [SwearFilter] off Micky Moore. Bluebirds.

The club exists because of its fan base.
You deserve a medal for your input and away from home especially. Well done.

Passionate stuff from Barrowaberdeen, who is the epitome of the true football fan supporting his local team to the hilt and beyond.
It has been hard work being a Barrow fan this season. The important bits as I see it were poor selection of players by Cox in the close season, Cox losing all integrity and understandably having to go/choosing to go, behind the scenes shambles thereafter with departures and poor appointments, ultimately Pennock doing OK with players who to be honest aren’t that good, but I take my hat off to them for the recent attitude (particularly away from home) that has resulted in survival.
The owner and manager are crucial from this moment. How much funding will be available is vital, but once that is established then a search from AP for quality players prepared to train in Manchester, but at the very least play their hearts out every fortnight up here and elsewhere. I’m optomistic he has the knowledge and influence to have a decent shot at that.

Today perfectly summed this season up on and off the field.
On the field we were absolutely woeful, awful defending for both their goals and last half an hour especially no idea of tactics/formation. We stayed up because Woking thankfully were worse than us
Off the field it was very disappointing that our owner wasn’t here for the biggest game for years. His son is still not fit to run a bath nevermind a football club. And it was genuinely embarrassing when we couldn’t even organise a bit of quiet and a microphone for some of our outstanding support to present the player of the year awards that the club had forgotten about

Well the drug taking relates to an article in the Non League Paper, so it's not really tittle tattle. I probably should have said player. I hope he continues to get help.

I think many would say the dressing room was a mess for a variety of reasons-. This matters in terms of the football on the park as we wouldn't have got Mickey Moore had it not been for some misguided wish to have an 'honest broker' at the club. He couldn't control what happened then- and too many didn't want to be there.
