Trouble with Dan Jones' long throws is that they are so predictable; opposing defences know the tactic, put two men on Moussa, and that's it. We have no variety.

Having said that, if Jones plays against us next season we probably won't work it out.

Some of those on the available for transfer list may have requested it themselves. No guarantee that anyone will come in for them, but this clear out is needed (i think we all agree it is needed) and lets see who Pennock can bring in.

The players/staff only pay 25 quid towards the cost of their stay PC pays the difference.

Not surprised. I suppose Holt is taking a decent wage and for me he could have been listed as well. Not seen an improvement in the team with his coaching and his playing days are over at this level.

When it says available for transfer it could be a free transfer it just means we then wouldn’t have to pay up the rest of there contract

I agree with all of that- Gomis has been hugely over-rated from being decent first half of the season. Like a fire engine racing around to the wrong address. Jones, a show pony and not as good as he thinks he is. If Bartram can't get into the side in front of Makoma at right back, unless there's something we don't know about, he should be a million miles from Barrow- it looks like he wants to be.

Makoma, although I have warmed to his efforts of late, should be gone too IMO. Can't see him stopping as the rest of the French retreat from Barrow.

An early signing of a decent centre half might show our intent and help persuade Moussa to stay. It's been rumoured for a couple of months on one of the non league forums that we had offered Ryan Astles a 2 year deal - he'd be a good start
