At that meeting at the forum it was my question that asked him 'are you an investor or a benefactor'. His answer, rather illogically, was 'both'.

Erm, invest in the club...players etc... (investor.) erm. benefit from the club..on field success etc..(benefactor ) It aint rocket science now is it? Easy enough to read that answer no problem if you are not now looking for another meaning to suit your present argument

What is my present argument? An investor expects a viable return on his money, a benefactor doesn't. According to the Carlisle United forum, they are annoyed at taking a beating from us the other night mainly because we are 'Part Time' club this season.

thats ok Babc- I'm just really glad that we have stayed full time given the turmoil at the end of last season-everything seems so upbeat now, its brilliant.
