Same as the Andy Burns thread; as much fun as getting the gang back together would be surely we haven’t quite reached the level of signing players released by national league north clubs yet

You are right, however are they arguably worse than some of our players this season?HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Tue May 22, 2018 7:14 am Same as the Andy Burns thread; as much fun as getting the gang back together would be surely we haven’t quite reached the level of signing players released by national league north clubs yet
As Mr Dalton bell ringer says he can't be any worse than what Holt provided.

Re: would you like to see jason walker back
He might come back as player manager stranger things have happened
Re: would you like to see jason walker back
Absolutley not! The only players I'd ever like to see back is the ones that have kicked on and developed there careers such as bennet, Williams, anderton etc. We don't wanna be signing a load of ex players back and then slag em off 1 month into the season saying they ain't up to it

Walker was good in his time at Barrow, but it's a definite no no to re sign him. He's not National League level but he was good at falling over in the area and getting a penalty.

Re: would you like to see jason walker back
What a bizarre thread. Seems that no matter how bad things seem to get around HS there are always some who would like to make things worse - with all due respect to Jason Walker, Andy Burns and Vinny Mukendi.
Why dont we just come clean and on behalf of the Club send a letter from The Forum to National League HQ entitled A Plea on behalf of all true BAFC supporters. This should say something like:
"On behalf of all true Bluebird supporters we the undersigned respectfully request the National League to dis-regard the outcome of the 2017-2018 season via which our club finished above the relegation places. This was clearly a mistake and was achieved in spite of assurances by Woking AFC that they would try a little bit harder on the final day.
This situation is now causing great stress to all those having to continue to pretend that we remain an NL team for a least one more season and will cause great hardship for those having to travel to away matches. We believe our millionaire owners are in agreement with this request, but are currently too busy planting communications towers across the great lone star state of Texas in a vain attempt to meet the budgetary requirements of another season.
If you could see your way to finding us a spot in a league more befitting of our needs (where are Frickley Athletic playing these days?), perhaps somewhere where you can still get a decent cup of Bovril or pint of Mild, then this would make the task of re-acquiring some of much-loved stars of yesteryear that much easier. Those of us that enjoy a good whinge under a leaky roof on a wet tuesday night in a gale force wind - perhaps somewhere near Lancaster - would be eternally grateful.
Backwards to the future.
