New Manager
Re: New Manager
Not making out to be a Welsh football expert but I'd of really liked the job to have been given to Nicholson. Follow him on Twitter seems like he has some good ideas and knows what he's on about, also done alright at Bangor. Can't really see what evatt can offer? Hopefully proven wrong.

Re: New Manager
Don’t know him but wish him well and really hope this is the start of a good season.
Glad it’s finally sorted.

Re: New Manager
Just glad to get that sorted really.
Whoever it was who got the job we just need to get behind him and the club and look forward to hopefully seeing some lads who actually give a shit about playing for us.
Welcome to the club Ian.

Welcome to the club Ian.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: New Manager
Wonder if it is a player-manager role? This is what he said when he left Chesterfield:
"On not getting the managers job Evatt said "I said many times that I wanted to be the manager because I knew the club better than anyone else out there. That doesn't mean though that management was the be all and end all for me. I still believe I have a lot to offer as a player, I still think I would have been a big asset but it's the way it is. I will dust myself off and be fit to play next season."

Re: New Manager
There's a bit of a novelty a leader out on the pitch.
It's been a while coming lets hope it works out.

Re: New Manager
Embarking on his management career so hope it’s a good fit and he gets the backing needed. We endured some terrible football last season at Holker Street so let’s hope Evatt brings a modern apporach and some attacking flair. Best of luck, hope Casson backs him to bring in the players we need.

Re: New Manager
I think he will be. Hopefully a good leader on the pitch like a Livesy type. Let's get Moussa's contract tied up for another year now.Jim wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 4:08 pm Wonder if it is a player-manager role? This is what he said when he left Chesterfield:

Re: New Manager
Seems a decent appointment. Loads of FL experience, played in the Premier League, must have a load of contacts AND he can still play. On paper a much better appointment than some bloke from Wales who talks a good game.
Re: New Manager
I’d have taken the Bangor lad as assistant as well what a pairing that would have been

Re: New Manager
You say it’s a much better appointment; someone after their first job in management would agree to work to any budget, time will tell if it works out

Re: New Manager
Welcome & good luck Ian (think you'll need it)
Just hope Casson gives him the tools to work with for the impending relegation scrap
