Entry to the HOB match

Post by Bigfathoss » Mon Jul 02, 2018 10:35 pm

Settle an argument for me. I have heard it said that BAFC are saying entry to the HOB match is free with a season ticket being shown.
1. I don't think BAFC have the power to do this.
2. I doubt even the BAFC admin are completely [SwearFilter] clueless enough to try and insist on something like this.
3. I was told by the same BAFC admin that the tickets might not even be available for the Crewe match anyway...

Says it's free to season ticket holders here Hoss. https://mobile.twitter.com/Official_HOB ... 5446753286
Can't imagine it would be referring to Hob season ticket holders, unless PC is footing the bill.
I think it's best to make a voluntary donation to local football league and hopefully that will be the case.

Not a good look from us, better to give local football some money rather than take gate money away

I read that tweet as its free for ST

Season tickets are not out yet so it's irrelevant if it's free or not.
Everyone will have to pay

Yep, that matches what my uncle at HOB told me. I still think there has to be a mistake somewhere. BAFC can't dictate that surely? And if they can...they bloody well shouldn't. It will be chaos for the people that can be bothered going on Saturday.

Saturday is an away friendly so all BAFC supporters have to pay (Adults £5 / Concs & U16's £2) including ST Holders. The only games ST Holders have free entry to is the home matches against Carlisle, Crewe & Newcastle U23.

Full details of friendly prices are here : http://www.barrowafc.com/pre-season-fri ... cket-info/

There will be news, hopefully today, about season ticket collection but they will be ready for the Carlisle game (never mind the Crewe one! :D )

+1

it’s cheap enough and it supports local football at a lower level.

You were seriously having an argument about the admission cost into our first friendly of the season against a local team, jeez, just give it a miss mate.

Would you really only want to pay £2 toward local football clubs? Concession rate. Fair enough for the youngsters though.
A fiver isn't much in the scheme of things surely.

No we don't mate, it's pay on the gate at every match for NWCFL and LFA Cup.

The recent exception was the match where Paul Scholes played - that was all ticket.......and it was only our ground grading capacity that stopped us selling half as many again.
'ere luv....does this smell like chloroform to you??

No, I was having an argument about the validity of the statement that had been put out. Thanks for contributing though.
