The way I E has them patiently building & looking for the right opening is a joy to watch. There were at least two spells last night when Chesterfield looked like the were chasing shadows...the passing was worthy of any team in this league.
When you look at what we’re doing here on a reduced budget compared to what we had a year ago....
Also really happy for Paul Casson that gates seem to be improving and he’s getting the football he wanted to see.

Now where’s that Pedro fella 😁
Why would I complain.
We have a Manager who is fighting to make his name and players who are the same.
Greatly reduced budget and no new stadium but the footballs good.
The dilemma is if we are in a position to gain promotion do you think we will go for it without financial backing.
So far so good ,let's see how we fair but it will be not be for lack of effort.

You really are an oddball Pedro.
You can’t help having a dig at the owners [“greatly reduced budget” and “no new stadium”], on the back of the best footy we’ve seen at HS in ages.
You rightly applaud the manager and players, then suggest there is a dilemma [where none exists], and talk of promotion [much too soon], and you imply the same manager and players won’t try to “go for it” if there isn’t money available.
If you say, as you (rightly) often do, that it’s all about opinions on here, I have to repeat that you are an oddball. There is some entertainment in it though I have to say. No apology if that sounds a little patronising.

You can enjoy the product on the field (and the footballing staff) without agreeing with the way the club has/is being run off the field. You don’t have to go over the top and say both are brilliant just because we are producing on the pitch

In all my decades of watching Barrow, I have NEVER seen football like it. Keep the ball, run the other team around until wel find an opening. Jamesons pass was a classic example, brilliant. Can we keep him? Granite again was emense" the rock " of the defence. Hindle , what a signing. Why the hell was he playing for some silly Welsh team. Little Smithy, pocket rocket.
Andy Firth, very solid. Josh Kay, what a workrate. Hate leaving players out tonight, but they took my eye. Also Taylor, hope he's ok .Superb team performance. My man of the match....... Ian Evatt.
Its a pity Andy Woods is not still around to witness just how good this side are.

It wont be long before Carlisle come a calling for one or two of our players. It appears that they are on the bones of their arse.

Of greater concern, If we finish high in the league playing attractive football the manager will be soon attracting interest at football league clubs, I'm afraid.

This is like the BBC news every night which has all the angst these days about things that might happen, rather than telling us what is happening or what has happened. Evatt is on a 2 year contract, Carlisle is even further away from where he lives and nobody in their right mind would want to manage Carlisle anyway. Let's enjoy it while it lasts and stop worrying about what might happen.

Exactly.
Creating problems where none exist.
