Barrow v Braintree
Re: Barrow v Braintree
Thought we were good for the first 10 minutes then lost our way. We still contained Braintree really well. Ref was in love with the sound of his whistle. Thought Taylor was our MOM. Crowd looked about 1000 to me. We could hear the whistle from the other game because the ground was quiet. 3 points is 3 points
Onwards and upwards...
Just say no to VAR

Re: Barrow v Braintree
First game I’ve been to this year and fort it was a ok performance. Granite a proper defender, just not the best with his ball at his feet, good decision to put
Jones next to him... wasn’t particular impressed with the lad up top... fort hindle would be better down the middle seemed to have something about him. Wish at time they would just get the ball in the box there was 5/6 times where they missed a opportunity to get the ball in the box then lost possession.

Not The way evatt plays at the moment. No point chucking it in the box when your 2 fwds are 5'6"Kendal_bluebird wrote: ↑Sun Aug 26, 2018 10:01 am First game I’ve been to this year and fort it was a ok performance. Worst we've played this year, much more to come from this bunch...
Re: Barrow v Braintree
Strangely, Evatt sounded more upbeat about this win than he did about the Chesterfield one. I think he was more pleased that we were able to defend well under pressure.
Re: Barrow v Braintree
I think a manager has to sound upbeat Jim no matter what happened or his players might lose confidence.

Perhaps he didn't want us supporters to get too carried away by the team's success, Jim.
