BDF Issue
Would just like to raise the current issue around the BDF Haf Time Shop.
- Why have the prices gone up by nearly double?

Re: BDF Issue
I too would like to know why everything is not free? I felt awful seeing good old Donny sat outside with his paper cup asking for any spare notes so he could buy a mars bar from the BDF. Try the Trust instead buddy their prices have only increased ever so slightly.
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

OK, will take the first post at face value, although of course on here it could be one of a plethora of multiple aliases dangling fishing rods. Apologies if not.
Very little of the pricing has changed from last season at all. Chocolate bars have gone up 10p. A large coffee/tea/bovril/hot chocolate is 80p (cheapest in ground) for a Trust Member and £1 if not. We work hard to keep costs down, indeed, the profit margin is small.

Re: BDF Issue
As you may know the sugar tax came in recently a soft drink/ bar of chocolate has gone up by a minimum of 19 pence, so there may be your answer.

Re: BDF Issue
The Soft Drinks Industry Levy (aka Sugar Tax) has nothing to do with bars of chocolate....it's a tax on soft drinks....optomisticsupporter wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 2:29 pm As you may know the sugar tax came in recently a soft drink/ bar of chocolate has gone up by a minimum of 19 pence, so there may be your answer.

Re: BDF Issue
Maybe people are putting too much sugar in their tea?
Re: BDF Issue
Pretty embarrassing to read this... Why does it matter that costs have gone up... the money is going to something that does good in the community and around the club and they are providing a service.
