As one of only two players remaining from his tenure he was also very complimentary about Barthram - great attitude, loves the club.

Another wonderfully considered response!
Re: Dover v Barrow match thread
It's good to read the comments about Ady Pennock. Despite the totally forgettable shambles of last season there are two things to remember . . . firstly, that he kept us up despite what he inherited and had at his disposal, and, secondly, despite the nightmarish home showings we only managed to win away after he joined us and – astonishingly, given the home form – we went on to have something like the third or fourth best away record in the league under his tenure. So, in spite of everything, thanks to Ady and well done (at least for the far away bits where most of us weren't even brave enough to look).

Aye belting that. Kid ain’t good enough. Only here as nobody wanted him and we didn’t want to pay him off, simple really.
Re: Dover v Barrow match thread
The lad is still young and has played league football some 80 games.
He is our player and is good enough.
Disparaging comments don’t help.
He will play his part this season.

How about a well done for Paul Cox? He inherited an equally poor side but instead turned them into a mid table side that season. Then a play off chasing side the next, before he has his budget massively restricted leaving him unable to do his job properly.pjdaly wrote: ↑Sun Sep 30, 2018 6:27 pm It's good to read the comments about Ady Pennock. I couldn’t possibly disclose information such as that!
Isn’t it strange we are getting all these confrontational and negative comments from a ‘new poster’ with just 15 posts?
And you are way off the topic of the thread!

He was given a chance by the new manager, proved his worth = good enough. No ones opinion on players matters more than Ian Evatt. I trust him on this over you.BAFC_Lewis wrote: ↑Sun Sep 30, 2018 10:44 pmAye belting that. Kid ain’t good enough. Only here as nobody wanted him and we didn’t want to pay him off, simple really.
