New bottle/pie bar.
After a lot of hard work by a lot of people (including retirees midweek) and although it won’t be entirely finished - the top foyer and new bottle/pie bar will open at 12:00 this Saturday.
We think you’ll also notice the difference in the X Bar itself, new tables and chairs making it look a whole lot better.
If you’re thinking of having a drink or bite to eat before the game, or even at HT on Saturday, give these a try. Hopefully you’ll enjoy the changes.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Well done everyone. I hope the effort put in to get this up and running proves successful. It has been requested for a long time.
Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Good effort all round, hopefully it'll entice a few more into the X bar. Just out of curiosity and nothing more, where are the pie being sourced from?
Popular side since '03.

Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Jamie has sorted a pie oven and he’s organised the pies, I have no idea where from though.
He’s also getting a new bottle fridge delivered (today I think) so it’s all been a bit manic the last two weeks.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Well done all involved.
Probably best people not knowing who’s supplying the pies as no doubt the moaners will not like them from whoever it is

everyone is entitled to their opinion, deal with it
Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Lot of good work gone into it.
Has anyone thought about pre paying and ordering drinks for half time to cut any waiting time down and increase flow and therefore revenue
Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Will this have any effect on the current burger vans? Does their profit go to the club or are they stand alone businesses?

Probably being bought in bulk from the club's neighbour - Asda
What the f**k have pies got to do with Football, anyway?
Never understood why anyone would want to eat a pie between 3-5pm/7.45-9.30
Just have some lunch/tea before the game.
No wonder this country has a problem with obesity!

@Jonty has sent me a link to an app that allows this Pedro. It's on a list of about 100 things to look into but we'll get to it!

Some fans are at the ground from 12 noon on Saturday and 6pm for an evening game. Some fans travel to Barrow so will perhaps want something to eat.The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:24 pmProbably being bought in bulk from the club's neighbour - Asda![]()

Why are people so intolerant of others choices.? If you don't want a pie don't buy one.

Why would any fan be in the ground at 12.00?/6pm?

Re: New bottle/pie bar.
Let me get this right. You'd rather money went into ASDA's coffers than the club's? I'll tell you this: whenever I drive down from Scotland without lunch I'll be heading straight to the pie bar. Well done folks. The Tomahawk Kid wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:59 pmAsda's next door!Holkerbird wrote: ↑Wed Nov 14, 2018 3:51 pm

P.S. I'm not obese.
