Anyone complaining about £2.50 for a pie has obviously never been to another sporting event

Obviously not an issue for a lot of people as they’d virtually sold out before KO and brought more in for HT - which again sold out.

Plenty of cans being sold.

Very little in the way of queues in the X Bar, people using the foyer area....I’d say that’s a resounding success.

We’ll look at the possibility of getting a TV in there now.
Ignore the idiots Ian. People who were there today could see the efforts and benefits of that area today.

Bar looked great today. Full of family's and fans
Corporate rooms full too.
Forget the knockers. £4 for a beer and pie at a football ground is good value at any level.
Great idea and execution
Well done all....

I despair. Standard price for football and were hone made( and decent enough)

I normally head to a pie shop or asda for some food before setting up, today i sampled a pie at the club and was impressed, it has my custom pre match from now on.

People will always find something to complain about, if our £2.50 pies help raise vital funds for the club then i will happily help!!!

Sampled the Hunters Chicken. The filling was superb, crammed full of succulent meat. Only a minor grumble was pastry needed cooking a while longer, but will improve I'm sure, and a bargain at 250 pence.

Just been told that over 100 pies were sold yesterday. Seems the fillings were alright and they were decently priced after all 😁
Seriously though, that is amazing, I don’t think anyone thought it would go that well.

Also another positive I’ve just been told about was that there was very little in the way of queues in the main bar.

Personally I don’t normally go for a pint at HT because of the wait, but grabbing a can yesterday was a doddle.

Hopefully this’ll persuade people to use both bars on match days and put much needed money into the club.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
