Re: BARROW V Wrexham match thread
By the sounds of it Eastleigh was a shocker - add in poor weather and CL on the tellybox and you get a crowd like that, unfortunately.
I didn’t go, btw, but I did buy a ticket as a gesture of support for the new set up.

Re: BARROW V Wrexham match thread
Really enjoyed the game tonight tough game for the lads but they passed it with flying colours really proud of the effort they put in , thought we had the better chances but there wasn't much between the team's.
A guy who said he was working up here was surprised by how well we played.
Only disappointing aspect was the crowd how fickle are the people in BARROW absolutely pathetic .
Anyway the players can have a well earned rest now .

Numerous people entering the popular side through the large metal gate, using pre bought tickets. Are these numbers included in the crowd total

As 0-0 goes, it was an entertaining match. Pleased to keep two clean sheets in a row. Hopefully carry on at Braintree.

Very good point played so much better with more confidence.Thought augustienne class and as get fitter be even better.Taylor deserved mom was very energetic everywhere.Attendance very disappointing usual story football on tv and it’s warmer home or the pub.As it was not raining or windy and not as cold as expected annoying that more didn’t turn out.Other whinge is that the refreshment bar near mains stand not open. This firm should have to commit to opening both for all league games whether midweek or Saturday.Cant expect people to walk all way round stand in long queue to get hit drink.Hope club takes back control of outside catering cos that lets us down.

Re: BARROW V Wrexham match thread
Failure to. Invest In better facilities costs the club money on nights like this... Of course the merchants of doom and gloom questioning if the game would be on or not pre game may have put some off (see that thread was taken down).. Fairly poor away following from Wrexham compared to what they take to other places.
BTW I wasn't at the game either but not doable on public transport on a Tuesday night from where I live. The town needs to really get behind the club if it wants a club

Call it ‘making excuses’ if you want but you can’t deny these would be factors for some people.blue nige wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:44 pmPlease don't make excuses for these so-called supporters I follow Utd and have bt but I support my local team as for the weather no rain no wind yes but a bit cold but hey it's November!Lancaster Branch wrote: ↑Tue Nov 27, 2018 10:33 pm By the sounds of it Eastleigh was a shocker - add in poor weather and CL on the tellybox and you get a crowd like that, unfortunately.

I enjoyed it tonight confidence looks to be coming back I think Blyth playing helps tyler smith. Taylor was mom but Dixon had on of his best games for Barrow for me his shot stopping was good and his distributon was much better.

Blue niges fault.
Re: BARROW V Wrexham match thread
No conspiracies - crowd was sparse, and 800-odd was right.
Not sure what the above poster was watching, but Dixon's distribution was terrible! The ball rarely goes where he intends, and usually ends up in the one corner of the pitch that no one is standing.
Thought Agustien and Smith were playing well, so can only imagine tiredness was a factor in them being subbed. We edged the first half and outplayed them second - the style tonight also felt like Evatt was implementing his Plan B, and it worked.
