Re: Ground Maintenance Area
The permanent toilets on the main stand side only have two cubicles and three urinals for the gents and the ladies have two cubicles. There's the toilet for disabled people but I don't think that is sufficient for the stand. The porta loos were used by quite a few fans.
However it is up to those funding to decide if more need to be put in place.

There’s toilets on the other end of the main stand as well Elaine. On the pop side there’s a wall and a porta-loo five miles away from the HSEHolkerbird wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 10:28 am The permanent toilets on the main stand side only have two cubicles and three urinals for the gents and the ladies have two cubicles. Like I said earlier, the porta-loos by the West Terrace were beyond repair anyway so they couldn’t be used even if they were left.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: Ground Maintenance Area
I hate to criticise your efforts but having finally made pies available (yee Haa wooo hooo) the 3 pies I have bought so far have varied from luke warm to cold. Please don't stop selling pies but can you please look at this. I do appreciate all your efforts

Think this as simple as turning the pie warmer on earlier and putting the pies in earlier

That’s fine mate, I’ve just been told by someone else as well. I think it was because someone didn’t know how to set the thermostat correctly. We’ll check it out on Sunday just to make sure it’s right for over Christmas.

Those gents toilets don't have any drying facilities for your hands Elaine.Holkerbird wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 10:28 am The permanent toilets on the main stand side only have two cubicles and three urinals for the gents and the ladies have two cubicles. Hand Dryer's are cheap enough to buy.

Having cleaned all the bloody things in the past I know where the toilets are situated Ian.spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 10:39 amThere’s toilets on the other end of the main stand as well Elaine. Segregation is advised by the Police after the Macclesfield game a couple of seasons ago, when none segregation issues led to the present situation

Re: Ground Maintenance Area
Segregation in the stand consists of the width of the steps between the two blocks---apart from serious segregation when there's a two rope strand separating us. Wrexham. It has been like that before the Macclesfield game.Lightflood wrote: ↑Fri Dec 21, 2018 12:28 pm Segregation is advised by the Police after the Macclesfield game a couple of seasons ago, when none segregation issues led to the present situation

Think you’re right mate, the pie warmer was on a low setting! We turned it up so the pies should be warm from now on...JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 12:54 pmThink this as simple as turning the pie warmer on earlier and putting the pies in earlier

Another good turnout today and quite a few tidying up jobs out of the way for the Christmas fixtures.
We also got around to blanking off that big hole in the corporate area where the wind was blowing through the void of the false ceiling and roof.
Thanks to the Bob In Cafe once again for the breakfast buns and to everyone who gave up their Sunday morning this close to Christmas.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Ground Maintenance Area
Thank you very very much to the gentleman and his good lady (who use the forum but wishes to remain anonymous) who gave me £50 to go into the maintenance pot at yesterday’s game.
They live away and can’t get to most games so used that as their excuse to give us a % of what the tickets would’ve cost them.
What a fantastic gesture - it’s greatly appreciated and it’ll be spent carefully. Thank you.

Re: Ground Maintenance Area
There is another visit planned for this Sunday. Meet at the club at 9am
This is your chance to help the club
Everyone is welcome. There are jobs for everyone.
The maintenance area under the main stand needs a major tidy, there are outstanding painting and Electrical jobs.
Get yourself down.....

As Neil mentions, the GMA needs a really good sort out.whitty1969 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 03, 2019 4:52 pm There is another visit planned for this Sunday. Meet at the club at 9am

One of the things we’ve noticed since we’ve been back is that quite a few tools have gone missing, the main one being a virtually brand new concrete breaker (just on the off chance, if anyone reading this knows someone who borrowed it, can you please remind them where it lives)
There are smaller items as well, some that perhaps someone on here could help with if you no longer use them at home.
We’re desperate for some extension leads, the sort that are on spools.
If anyone has any tools at home they no longer use (electric or hand) we’d be more than grateful if you could donate them to the GMA. We’d rather not spend donated money on these things as the money would be much better used buying materials but we’re probably going to have to in the coming months, especially some of the things that we’ve been using that are bordering on unsafe (extension cables, electric drills, grinders, but we’ll take anything)
Everything is now under lock and key again - as we used to have it so nothing should go missing from now on.
