Proper support. Think the festive period started to show on us second half, we started to tire and Fylde had a strong spell but the fans responded and really did push the lads on. Been a brilliant festive period, now we have to carry it on against the “smaller” clubs

Excellent point in the end and nearly nicked it. Both sides cancelled each other out. Great atmosphere from the away crowd in second half. We defended resolutely and created a few half chances late on. Happy new Year. Lads appreciated the support and all came over at the end.

Two good teams who didn’t trouble either goalkeeper really. Dixon had more to do, and did it well. A draw was fair, and one goal would have won it. I dare to say we comfortably look a top 6 side at the moment. The effort, determination and organisation was very good (again). 8 games unbeaten speaks for itself; the players and the manager deserving of praise. The travelling support was exceptional.

That was a good team effort dixon was brilliant today and taylor and granite not far behind him great day at a well run club who were very welcoming

Dixon & Jameson have both come on leaps and bounds in the last month or so, both looking so confident at the moment.

Both teams could have claimed a win in that final ten minutes as there were chances at either end, thankfully Rowe couldn’t make more his late half chance mainly due to Granite managing to cover for a rare Taylor mistake.
The ref let all the shirt pulling and arms wrapped around our players go all match...back to Earth with a bump after the one we had against Salford.

For those who complained about our turnstile waiting time, try queuing in a “hi tech” Mill Lane ticket queue! Left the pub at 2:15, arrived at the ground at 2:30 and we still missed the first six or seven minutes of the game.

Fantastic run, just need attendances to improve now.

Good game and great atmosphere. Hopefully Kemy is ok as he was limping a bit at the end when he came over to clap.
Nice set-up down there also, such as the restaruant/bar etc, seems crazy that BAE systems appear on their main web page as Community Foundation Principle Partner sponsorship (which links to the main BAE page which ironically mentions Barrows new facilities), whereas, as far as i know, the BAE/Shipyard in Barrow doesn't have any involvement like this with the club? despite it being one of the largest engineering projects it has running at the moment?

Have to say Dixon was immense today, made some fantastic saves & was as commanding as I’ve ever seen him. Brilliant keeping.

On another note my lad plays for Wigan Athletic academy U11’s - today was a great example for him to see how Granite just couldn’t deal with Rowe’s movement in the first half whilst Jones had him in his pocket for the majority of the second half, all credit to IE for identifying & rectifying this.

Only been to a few games this year but defensively set up well, one thing I noticed was a lack of pace at times and sometimes looking scared to have a shot! Cracking ground at fylde, be even better once they get there home end behind the goal sorted. Cracking following as normal

Credit to the club, management and players for a great December of football.
Crowd / supporters were superb today and a credit to the club and team
As mentioned in other posts I thought Dixon was excellent with some crucial saves keeping us in the game.
8 without loss and 6 clean sheets is a great set of stats for any club.
