Re: Agustien gone
Can’t fault Remy for trying to maximise his earnings for the last few years of his career..however the way his agent has built this whole thing up I’m dying to see the massive club they have done a deal with. As above it woukdn’t surprise me at all if he rocks up at Salford.

Re: Agustien gone
The following I’ve cut and pasted from the club’s twitter feed. From Agustien
I wanna Thank
@ianevatt23
and
@BarrowAFC
for the opportunity to find my pleasure back in football. The staff/team and especially the fans been more then good to me. Get on the winningside again cause the quality is there and you All deserve to get in the play-offs.

Re: Agustien gone
Having seen the way the agency conduct themselves on social media and the way players under the agency conduct themselves i think no matter how good a player Kemy is we are better of rid.

Re: Agustien gone
Yeah - them's the breaks, it's not like he'd been with us 10 years or anything. I don't know if its just us but our sides seem very transient nowadays with our little crew asking each other at the game who certain players are, where they are from etc. the norm now. Time was when it was the same 11 week in week out; you knew all about them, sometimes where they lived, and on the rare occassion which pub was their local!

If Kemy wants what is best for him, it would be to ditch that awful agency he is currently with. Interested to see if he gets that Football League move they’ve seemingly promised him.

Re: Agustien gone
Evatt absolutely furious with his agent not Kemy. Young lad from Birmingham kept turning up late for training hence being sent back
Re: Agustien gone
I've noticed a former member of this forum has been enjoying what's been going on over the last few days.
The club has played this 100% correctly IMO. They've put a statement out with the facts and left it at that.

Popular side since '03.
Re: Agustien gone
Kemy apparently happy to stay here until agent demands and the club took a stance on it. Missed him out there today. Get this back on.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Re: Agustien gone
I like the way Evatt is prepared to tell everyone how it is instead of keeping things 'in house' as has been the norm previously. Do we know where Augustien actually went to?

Re: Agustien gone
It made for a good listen but you're right that Evatt has a lot to learn about being a manager. He goaded Adam into asking the question which resulted in the rant. Reminded me of the Kevin Keegan 'love it' interview years ago.Wintergreen wrote: ↑Sat Jan 19, 2019 6:09 pm I like the way Evatt is prepared to tell everyone how it is instead of keeping things 'in house' as has been the norm previously. No idea where Augustien has gone - presumably to a team which his prepared to pay for his agent's hotel bills and travel expenses.
Oh Evatt also doesn't like what is put on this site either. If you don't like it Ian, don't read it!
