In Evatt we trust and all that but I dread to think the stick certain previous managers would have got for making a signing with a similar goal scoring record

We had a Millionaire in charge do could supposedly pay money in the early days
We have to trust the Manager but it also shows he wants to build players who are signed to the club and not loaned,possibly a asset to sell.
Hopefully someone who wants to make it and use Barrow as a stepping stone to better things.

Sorry to rain on your parade Pedro but if my ageing memory serves me Withe was offered a contract but had already decided to go to South Africa where he was spotted and returned to play for Wolves et al and England.On the subject of Morgan, Ian Evatt has said that we don't just shoot arrows and sign where they land. A lot of work goes into watching players contacting previous managers etc before signings are made. This time last year few had heard of Granite,Kay, Taylor or Hindle. Enough said.

But alas he did. The shame of impending relegation with the mighty Bluebirds sent him into the clutches of the now defunct Port Elizabeth City (via a stint in the French Foreign Legion). He may have gone on to win International honours and score the winning goal for Villa in the European Cup final - but he was never the same man emotionally ever again.

his previous loans were about 2 years ago when he was 18 - he's scored regularly for the teams at Peterborough since then. He'll score far more than Blyth did

That will not be difficult Blyth was an absolute flop as a National League striker over the full season.
