He is a national league player at best but if he fancies giving it a go in league 1 or 2 then good luck to him (jordan williams ) 😉

Could easily make the step up to League 2. Only player outside the playoff teams to be in the League Team of the Season!

I thought the Evatt comments in the NWEM article was interesting. He said he had wanted to extend Jones's contract last October but Casson had not agreed. Evatt also stressed the importance of investing in future assets to help make the club sustainable.

Self sustainability is something the new owners have already alluded to. I’m sure they said they want us self sustainable by the end of next season. Having our golden nuggets in this case Dan Jones tied to a contract would of relieved the burden that it seems the Cassons have left the new owners with. Another snippet from I E regarding failing to heed advise it seems to have happened far too regularly. It sounds like we only know the half of it and in some ways that’s probably for the best. Things are moving at great pace both on and off the pitch at present to improve sustainability, we all need to embrace it utilise it when we can as I feel we won’t get an opportunity like this again.

Rumour has it we have an excellent replacement coming in for Dan Jones ,played for us before and would be welcomed back by many.Is this the player they can’t announce until after 1st June I wonder?

Would you say he's a 'big' name?

I'm sure you're joking, but he signed for Chester the other day.

McNulty? He's definitely 'big'! Sub for Tranmere today when they won the Division 2 playoff but don't know if they are keeping him.

I've often wondered what Kenny Gordon was doing these days 😁

Just had a look, and Ziggerzagger's previous rumours have included a return for Ross Hannah and a return for Lee McEvilly (years after he left the last time). I'm guessing he isn't really ITK.

I asked that question already and Big E came back and said that Quigley was the one that couldn't be announced - but then had been anyway
